Tony Padlo and his team at Blue Umbrella waterproofing were great. From the initial walkthrough to the final walkthrough it was extremely extremely great. The team arrived when they said they would. They completed my whole basement in a day and a half. The team worked so well they left my basement just as clean as it was in the beginning and my basement has never felt so good. I could feel the difference in the air. If you are looking for a waterproofing company definitely give them a call .

From the very first meeting with Jim until the finished job with Hernan, I could not have asked for better communication! They provided more information than I even thought I needed and were extremely knowledgeable about everything related to basements, water intrusion, and waterproofing systems. Hernan even noticed that our water filtration system had split, which allowed us to prevent a much bigger problem before it happened. You had contacted us with questions regarding moisture on a basement floor related to a tile installation project. While we are not a tile contractor, we did our best to point you in the right direction by recommending certain products and general measures that may help reduce moisture and humidity conditions.

We also advised that you speak with a qualified tile contractor experienced in slab moisture issues and tile installation over concrete, since proper diagnosis and installation methods are important in those situations.

They installed a new sump pump and drainage pipe system in my basement. The quality of the pump and piping materials was excellent, and the whole installation was done very professionally. The workers were skilled, efficient, and paid attention to detail throughout the project. After the work was completed, they also cleaned up the floor carefully, which I really appreciated. Overall, a very smooth experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for basement waterproofing or sump pump installation.

We had Blue Umbrella in as we had damp issues and water infiltration in our basement and needed a sump pump installing. From start to finish, they were fantastic. The consultation was incredibly clear, straightforward and without catches. We were given various options for the work with no pushiness to go for more expensive extras. Scheduling with Nelson was very simple and he was quick to answer any follow up questions we had. The team that came to do the work were great, even offering to help with moving some flooring supplies I had delivered on the same day! They got on with the job, tidied up nicely afterwards, and talked me through each step of the work as it was being done. I would recommend Blue Umbrella

We hired Blue Umbrella to install a sump pump & French Drain for the perimeter of our basement and we are very happy with the job they provided You can really see how this is a family owned business that cares about their customers. Kevin the salesman was great to work with, he was knowledgeable and provided a fair and transparent quote without any pressures. The foreman Jose was equally impressive. Jose and his 6 man crew arrived on time very neat and clean for a dirty and labor intensive job. Jose kept the project running smoothly. The crew worked hard to finish the project on schedule and kept everything clean, leaving the workspace spotless when they left. The crew takes a lot of pride in their work. We had a huge problem with water in our unfinished basement. Luis from Blue Umbrella came to our house, with a bag of samples of the products they would use, and showed a video of how it would be done. We had a French Drain installed, along with a sump pump, battery backup and a dehumidifier on December 1, 2025. With all the rain and snow we've had, not one drop of water in the basement. Due to the dehumidifier, we can now store anything down there. Their employees were wonderful and everything was completed in a day. They showed up on time, a large crew, and were finished an hour early. My husband only had one problem, they gave us a jar of the best mini chocolate chip cookies that he absolutely loved but cannot find anything as good. Maybe they will share the company they get them from. 😁 I highly recommend this Blue Umbrella for your needs.
