My outside A/C unit stopped running and I called around 10:30 am and technician Louie showed up around 12:00 as notified through text message. He went to work diagnosing the problem, changed out the capacitor and contact switch and had the unit working in 45 minutes all while explaining step wo me . 30 years experience and very knowledgeable and competent professional. Pricing was reasonable and I signed up for the yearly service contract since my previous A/C guy retired.

From first contact, Blue Star Air Conditioning was top notch! I called their number and the owner, Sanjay Patange, came to my home the same day. He took a look at my 24-year-old HVAC system and made some recommendations. I knew I wanted a top-of-the-line Trane Hyperion system, which he had in stock. We settled on a fair and affordable price. Two days later, Jose, Jose and Carlos showed up at my home in the morning and my entire heating and cooling system was replaced THAT DAY and is working beautifully! They were professional, courteous and took such pride in their work. They didn’t leave until everything was cleaned up and put back the way it was...in fact better than it was! Blue Star is my go-to heating and air conditioning team. Whether you need a seasonal tune up, or a full system replacement like I did, call Sanjay and the team at Blue Star! You’ll be glad you did!
UPDATE: It’s 42 months since my system was installed by Blue Star. It’s really been great and has saved us about $200 per month, so the efficiency is awesome. Yesterday, a tree in our neighborhood dropped a large limb over a power line. Needless to say, our power was out, but just a short time. When it came back on, the surge made our wall thermostat fried. I called Sanjay this morning and, by 1:30 this afternoon everything was fully operational, with a new thermostat installed. Again, if you have HVAC needs, call Blue Star!
UPDATE #2: On the coldest day (Nov 11, 2025) in Florida this fall, our heater decided it wasn’t ready for winter. Again, Sanjay sent his best and brightest to figure it out. It took a few minutes, but Eugene figured it out and got our heat working just in time for the second coldest night this Fall. Five Stars and then some. Thank you Blue Star, Sanjay and Eugen for coming through for me.
UPDATE #3: If I ever move to another city in Central Florida, I’m still calling Blue Star. The problem in UPDATE 2 was solved today (November 17th) by replacing the wiring from the thermostat to the unit in the garage. After all this, no charge. Bad thermostat and wire…Standing behind their work. For all your heating and cooling needs, call Blue Star!

Called Blue Star for analysis of central HVAC issue; review scheduled for same day. Service rep arrived as scheduled -- friendly and informative, checked out system and reported "blown breaker" on unit disabled heat function, but freon supply apparatus needs replacement, no repair possible solely on freon distributing unit. Estimated cost at circa 4K to 6K dollars bur noted great age of HVAC unit: He recommended best consider replace entire HVAC unit, est at 8K + dollars. Paid $90.00 for service and done. Well done.

Would highly recommend Blue Star. They were competitively priced and their workmanship was excellent. It is also nice that you deal directly with the owner which you can speak with directly on his cell.
