1st time ever eating here, lifelong Houstonian. What drew me in was the Mole Enchiladas.
Went here for lunch. Service was great, food was hot and delicious but the rice was not fully cooked, a disappointment on the very first bite. The menu prices are also high and overpriced for a Mexican restaurant, you actually pay more and get less food than other very good Mexican restaurants. If you navigate further to their website, they say Mole Enchiladas are $16.99 on their full menu but when you actually walk in the restaurant in person, the Mole Enchiladas are $18.99.
Think about all the other choices a person has in Houston if they are going to spend nearly $20 on a meal before an even giving a tip. If I knew it was $18.99 + tax I would have ate somewhere else that gives you more food for that price (and serves fully cooked rice). This was the first time in my life that I left a Mexican restaurant still feeling a little hungry.
Because of the price/portion ratio - I will likely never be back while telling others about my experience.
