My installation of panels & a Tesla battery went really well with completion towards the end of January this year. Bloom offer really good value for money. I have just had a RCB replacement which was carried out in no time by Eliott, who was professional & knowledgeable. The RCB is a Tesla issue & has no bearing on Bloom. Thank you.
I looked for a local small company, having received a deluge of unsolicited publicity from companies which I felt may not exist when issues arose after installation. Visiting reps from two other companies never came back.
First discussions with Bloom helpful..and quotations laid out clearly in detail..would have liked info on grant availability
and possibility of Planning permission.
Thorough follow up site meeting.
Phone calls always answered. Appreciate admin arrangements with MCS , DNO managed for me.
Installation crew first class, taking time and care, available to discuss details and flexible.
Installation within 4 days in spite of inevitable small issues on site.
All in all a helpful, friendly and thoroughly competent. Functioning of system explained well.
Essentially, feel confident that help will be there when needed.
Disappointed that no European equipment offered as unhappy with unethically produced kit from Chinese companies and Tesla/American under current administration. Would like to see support for companies operating under shared system of values but understand Bloom must feel equipment and back up totally reliable.

I had 9 panels and Sigen 8kW battery installed in February. I chose Bloom because they were the most knowledgeable and gave detailed answers to questions. And price was reasonable, not quite the cheapest but some way below the most expensive. In particular they understood building regs approvals and were able to provide self certification for all parts of Building regs, not just electricals. Other suppliers were very vague on this point.
When it came to installation communication was good, the site team were also excellent. Tidy, considerate and no problems at all. Wiring and installation is very neat.
Post installation I got all the paperwork I was expecting. And the system works as expected

Great offer from Bloom Renewables for a Tesla Powerwall 3 installation. Harry came to see me. Very knowledgeable and happy to accommodate all my requirements for a tricky discreet install in a listed building. The installation team were superb. I had one concern about the position of the rather bulky isolation breaker. Instead of fobbing me off they sent a team out to move it to a more discreet location. What service! Great company to deal with, good communication throughout. Have already recommended them to a neighbour. The Powerwall 3 is also giving me such fun. I have switched energy suppliers and now get 6 hours overnight at 5p per unit. I charge the battery and have a load of smart switches to run towel rails, dehumidifiers, even ebike battery charging overnight. Washing machine and dishwasher too. I also have an old domestic hot water tank in my workshop, heated overnight by an immersion heater and I extract the heat during the day with a central heating pump through two plinth radiators. Should cut my electricity bill by 75 percent. My policy is to move as much as possible to the cheap overnight period and save the battery for things that have to run during the day. The battery seamlessly takes over during power cuts, rather comforting in the recent storms. If power cuts become more frequent in the future I will get Bloom Renewables to fit an extra battery.

The team at Bloom have now installed my solar system in 2 stages, totalling just over 9kW of generation. We went with the second stage because the initial installation worked so well, and delivers reliable generation even in the winter months. They have just installed a Tesla Powerwall 3, which has only been running for a week and is doing exactly as expected. We are running this system to supply a 11kW heat pump, and the combination of solar, battery, and heat pump is a very effective solution. When combined with a variable electricity tariff it means that our electricity bill will be very low, possibly negative - assuming we get a summer next year! The team at Bloom are very chilled out and just get on with the job - highly recommended.

Efficient installation
Communications by phone or email were good. I already had solar panels; the team decided the best location for the 9.5kW battery and inverter, and fitted them with the minimum of fuss. Friendly manner. They got the app installed on my smartphone for me; the graphics are really simple, clear and easy to understand, and I now enjoy noticing that, on a sunny day, even in mid October I'm generating more than I'm using during daylight. I'm in central Totnes.

Great experience from initial enquiry through to fitting and installation of our Solar, Battery and EV charger. Everyone I spoke to at Bloom was really friendly and helpful - Pete was patient whilst I decided what options to go for, Tim and the team liaised with my roofer seamlessly, the team working on the roof were brilliant, and Dave + the engineers did a great job doing all the electrical bits and explaining it in terms a lay person could understand. Absolutely brilliant!! With our previous inverter dead (12 years old from another company), I contacted Harry of Bloom Renewables this Tuesday. Rob came to inspect the following morning. We were given 2 options and chose one which involved an upgrade and a battery at a competitive price. 2 days later, electrician Dave came to do the installation. It started working that afternoon, with an online display showing what we are generating and storing.
