A great digital agency. Their expertise across both Google & Meta Ads has delivered great results for our business. A responsive team.
An expensive lesson: Stay away at all costs.
Black Theory will promise you the world but completely fails to deliver results. We spent over $30,000 with this agency and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Whenever we raised concerns about the lack of ROI, we were just given more empty promises that things would improve. They never did.
Two critical warnings for anyone considering them:
Audit your reports: Meticulously check the monthly reports they send. They are incredibly skilled at masking poor performance behind vanity metrics.
The Contract: Avoid signing a contract with them. If you absolutely must, ensure there is a strict, performance-based termination clause.
Save your budget and look elsewhere.

Words cannot express, a must read for anyone looking to engage Blank Theory!!! The biggest heartfelt thank you to the entire highly talented team at Blank Theory for bringing the new Kindness4Kids (K4K) website to life and more! K4K is a small, non for profit registered charity creating smiles for disadvantaged kids. We're 100% volunteer based and every cent goes to kids, so having the budget or resources to get our mission out there is tough, but necessary. ENTER Blank Theory = "Guys; we see you, we believe in what you're trying to achieve, we got you and..... we think we can help" Help is an understatement, this wasn't a "feel good" quick helping hand. This was 12 months of planning, passion, creativity and people just being amazing at their craft - all to give us the best support and branding they can! We now have an amazing website and more! Blank Theory’s creative, high-performing approach and thoughtful design beautifully captures our mission - helping us share kindness with more children, families, donors and supporters than ever imagined. We’re so grateful for their partnership to jointly help deserving kids. Blank Theory have donated 100% of their time (extensively outside work hours too) and resources for over a year on this complete overhaul of a new website project. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness, love and generosity. We're also not the easiest clients to work with I'm sure, I don't understand tech and IT and not all that creative, so with little assistance from our side you'd think it would create hurdles, instead BT found remedy after remedy.
It gets better, we have an annual Gala Ball fundraiser to raise funds for our next 12 months ahead, 2024 was our 1st. BT came on board shortly after this and 2025 was soon to be our second Gala. From concept design months in advance, the finer details, recruiting 30+ guests and sponsors, programming, supporting event planning, media, etc you name it! (even midnight email chat's the night prior for last minute changes and edits -- thanks Shannon!) BT was incredible and this culminated in us raising $103k!!!! Who would have thought our little charity could achieve such wondrous heights!
The impact, fast forward 5 months from website launch to now / April 2026. Our networks and branding are incredible but this example is just the best story ever! Long story short, Kindness4Kids received an email enquiry through our amazing new website (a function we didn't previously have) with someone wanting to donate $10K through their corporation (this amazing generosity is its own story) Every annual quarter, this corporation nominate an employee to select a charity of their choice and donate $10k. On this occasion, their employee emailed us saying she was searching charities online and thanks to the awesome SEO’s she found us and more importantly loved our website and stories instantly! Would our previous website have been found under her search? I don’t think so. And would our previous website have been enough to engage her continuously? I’m not convinced either. With over 6000 charities online in Australia and to be chosen on this random occasion speaks to the amazing precision and creativity from everyone at Blank Theory to create such a warm, heartfelt and inspiring website.
Agh! It doesn't end there either. Our biggest project so far.... 51 kids in Clare, South Australia! We needed volunteers, (they literally came with us to help!) helped secure funding, assisted with communication, logistics, resources and more! This would be another 500 words so I'll leave this one here because it's another story in itself that Blank Theory fully captured for us to share our story. Again, 100% in their time and on their budget! Who are these people?! And how lucky are we to have their support!
We are so proud of our little charity and what we’ve created at Kindness4Kids and the impact we have made for kids in need, but we could NOT do this without the support from BT and its wonderful people!
