Alex and his crew documented our wedding in 2015 and did an incredible job. The editing was top notch and people always ask us who we used! To add a cherry on top, 10 years later we misplaced the location of the digital copy of our recap video, within 24 hours Alex made a downloadable copy for us. Incredible service & product!

“A New Jersey Wedding in Colorado”. This was the caption that Alex created for the initial preview of his work. Because the wedding was out-of-state and Alex had never been there, he spent the day before the wedding getting familiar with the area. He attended the practice to get drone footage of the venue. He also attended the wedding guest hike the day after the wedding at the famous “Red Rocks” outdoor concert venue to obtain even more drone footage. There are so many reasons to use Black Horse Videography. Alex started organizing the day months ahead of time. He worked with the photographers to make everything seamless. He offered song selections for the groom and mother dance. He had answers and/or suggestions to any questions we had. The professionalism of Alex and his staff would be hard to beat. They were on top of every moment a bride and groom want to have to cherish. They were there, but you didn't "see" them. Alex is very fast to get a preview reel to you to recapture some of the highlights. It will make you want more. When you receive the final video, I'm sure you'll laugh and cry as you relive the day. There will be moments captured that you won't remember happening. His editing abilities are exceptional and the hours he must spend perfecting everything are obvious. When you work with Alex, it's not a "job". For the time he spends with you, you are "family" and he'll take care of you. There are countless ways to capture a wedding day on film, but my husband and I wanted a videographer who could truly tell the story of our magical day. Black Horse Videography came highly recommended, not only by our wedding venue but also through word of mouth. From our first conversation with Alex, it was clear he was genuinely excited about our unique fantasy-themed wedding, and we felt he truly cared about making our day as special as possible. In addition to filming the event from start to finish, they offered a fun video booth service for our guests to record messages during the reception. The first thing we saw was a short highlight reel that immediately transported us back to our wedding day, capturing its epic moments perfectly. A few months later, we received the full, beautifully edited video—a 45-minute movie set to music of our choice, covering every detail of our day. All the footage was conveniently provided through MediaZilla, allowing us to easily download, share, and watch on our smart TV. Our wedding video has become a treasured keepsake, allowing us to relive our perfect day with loved ones whenever we want. We had a fantastic experience working with Alex and Black Horse Videography and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, artistic video for their wedding or special event!

Black Horse Videography (Alex!) filmed our wedding day, and WOW, were they amazing! I'm actually not sure if we have many words to adequately convey how perfect they were...The most important vendors for my wedding day were food and photo/video. I spent a lot of time researching videographers and seeking recommendations, and I feel so incredibly lucky we were able to work with Alex. His professionalism and expertise are unmatched - he was more than a videographer. He helped with timeline, made sure my veil was laying right, made sure the Bridal party had everything they needed...he was everywhere, all the time. I never felt like he was just putting a check in the box as a videographer - rather, he truly put his every effort and whole being into capturing our entire wedding day. And when we got the highlight reel as a preview to the video - we are blown away. Even my friends have made comments that they wish they had this talent for THEIR wedding day! Absolutely incredible work and an incredible person to have video your wedding day.

Leading up to the wedding, their communication was outstanding, very responsive, and always answered any questions we had. The day of, they went above and beyond making sure they got any and all shots we specifically asked for. They worked very well with our other vendors, and truly helped to make our day run as smooth as possible and as stress free. I can’t express enough that if you are on the fence about booking a videographer; DO IT. You will never regret re-watching the most important day of your life. I hired Black Horse Videography for my 2023 wedding and highly recommend them. Alex is incredibly talented and professional. He assisted me with creating my wedding timeline, is punctual, and responds quickly to texts/calls/emails. He helped capture the most beautiful moments of my wedding and made them into a highlight reel & 40min video. I also requested the full video of our ceremony homily which he graciously included separately. I got everything back in the timeframe listed on my contract. I have no regrets with this vendor choice. If you are looking for a reliable videographer in the Buffalo area, this should be your choice!

I couldn’t recommend them enough! They deserve WAY more than 5 stars. We had to find a new wedding videographer 2 weeks before our wedding and Alex, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Not only did they have availability but he took the time to speak with me about all my wedding details. Day of wedding we had Alex himself come to film. He came with his partner Jason. They were so professional. They weren’t intrusive yet were able to direct us enough to get all of the shots they needed. I am so excited to see the final shots and I feel bad for anyone that doesn’t get to work with Blackhorse Videography for their wedding!

I don’t even know where to start! Alex Baker is INCREDIBLE! His talent is unmatched and he creates the most creative, beautiful videos I have ever seen!! We were so lucky to have him be our videographer for not only one, but two weddings!! We did a small wedding on 7.16.21 and our big wedding celebration/reception on our one year anniversary on 7.16.22 (due to Covid delays). Alex is very professional and works REALLY hard to record every little moment you would want caught on camera. His editing is also incredible. He tied the video footage, speech footage, and music from our special days into STUNNING videos that we will have forever to look back on!! His videos are SO well done and crafted so beautifully. He is also very organized and communicates very well beforehand so you know exactly what to expect before the wedding day. He always throws out fun ideas he has and makes the day so much fun and relaxed! His staff is also amazing!! Brooke was his second shooter and she was AWESOME! She was so nice and professional and we loved the footage she captured as well! You can’t go wrong booking Black Horse Videography!! They went above and beyond our expectations and will for you too!!
