Attended Lucy & Mel's birthing class at Beattie St Health Studio -- an absolute must for any first time parents. Empowering, calming, and just so valuable getting on the same page as my partner. It was very holistic with lots of information on both medical and non-medical pain relief & induction methods. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

My husband I just wanted to express our sincere thanks to you both Kristen and Lucy for leading us through such an insightful and helpful Positive Birth and Forth Trimester and Feeding course over these past few months. As first time parents it was reassuring to hear that our worries were shared with others in the room. We both left feeling more reassured that we will be able to navigate the birth journey and aftermath - whatever may be thrown at us! As first time parents, my husband and I found this workshop to be incredibly informative and interesting. We learnt a lot about what to expect both for the birth and the fourth trimester. Both Lucy and Kristin were super personable, positive and knowledgable. We were grateful not to have to engage in the cringey type activities we have seen in 'birthing classes' in the movies! Thank you so much Lucy and Kristin - highly reccomend these workshops for anyone expecting who wants honest and positive info! :)

We did the Birth & Beyond birthing class in Manly (taught by an highly experienced mid-wife) and it was awesome! Super educational and insightful, with a really relaxed vibe where we could ask anything. They covered everything - contractions, what to expect at the hospital, pain relief options, and how interventions can unfold. As a pretty clueless dad-to-be, I left feeling heaps more confident and prepared for what’s ahead. Highly recommend it to any expecting parents!

We had such a great morning with Kristin doing the caesarean and fourth trimester classes. A really informative class, but not too overwhelming. Lots of questions from a nice small group of people, and came away with a clearer understanding of what to expect, and armed with plenty of information to look back to once d day hits! Thank you!!

Can only say wonderful things about Birth and Beyond Education! My partner and I attended the positive birth workshop and prior to going into the workshop, I was absolutely terrified and unsure about birth. My partner also wasn’t sure what kind of role he would be playing during the birth too. I felt comfortable with asking my questions I had with Lucy during the workshop and after the session concluded both my partner and I were amazed on how much knowledge we were provided with. It’s left us both feeling less overwhelmed and terrified of what to expect. I HIGHLY recommend this workshop to everyone that is going through this beautiful journey to parenthood. We are both really looking forward to the fourth trimester workshop in a few weeks time.

Attended Lucy’s Positive Birth class a couple of weeks ago and highly recommend. It was very informative, Lucy had great knowledge of local birthing centres, and obviously a wealth of experience in birth. It was great for both me and my partner, and Lucy was a great speaker/presenter, it was very easy to listen to her talk. Really did make me look forward to birth with a positive outlook.

I’ve been to a few courses through my pregnancy and Birth & Beyond Education was amazing. The Fourth Trimester, Feeding and Caesarean class was exceptional, it was insightful, practical and genuinely a very judgement free space. My husband also really enjoyed it and found it targeted to ensure everyone was involved, from Mum, to Dad and baby. I’ve already recommended B&BE to friends all over Sydney.

My partner and I attended the Birth and Beyond positive birth class, and we wanted to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience. We had heard great things about the class from many people, but it truly exceeded our expectations. Lucy, our instructor, was absolutely fantastic. Her warmth and friendliness were so welcoming, and it was clear she genuinely cared about every single person in the room. She took the time to answer all of our questions throughout the workshop with sincerity and everything was articulated so well, making the class easy to understand.
