I have honestly had a great experience living here. I feel very comfortable and safe here. The staff are supportive and really caring. My support worker Faizah is amazing, she is very helpful with working on my support plan with me and takes into consideration my needs.
The accommodation is very clean and any issues are sorted out very quickly by maintenance. My bedroom was already nicely furnished and decorated which made it feel homely straight away.
The landlord Jameel is really lovely and approachable which makes a big difference.
Amazing overall would definitely recommend!!!
I would like to thank Big Mama’s Housing for the support they provide to people who are going through difficult situations. During a very stressful moment in my life when I had nowhere to go, I reached out for help and I’m truly grateful for the support I received.
In particular, I want to give special thanks to Saidah. She was absolutely amazing. While many places focus mainly on rules and policies,Saidah focused on finding real solutions. She didn’t just say “this can’t be done.” Instead, she was actively calling different places and trying everything she could to help me find somewhere safe to stay.
At that moment, I felt lost and had no place to go, but Saidah kindness, determination, and humanity made all the difference. Because of her efforts, I was able to find a room the very next day. She treated me with care, respect, and genuine compassion when I needed it the most.
I will always be grateful for her support. People like Saidah remind us that kindness and humanity still exist, and she truly made a life-changing difference for me.

I’m really grateful to Big Momma Housing for the support they’ve given me. They placed me in a transitional home where I have my own temporary one-bedroom flat, and it’s been such a positive experience. Everything is new, clean, and comfortable, which has made settling in so much easier.
Having a safe and peaceful space of my own has made a huge difference, and I truly appreciate the care and effort the team put into helping people get back on their feet. Thank you for providing a place that feels secure and hopeful for the future.

Have read one negative review and it is my honest opinion that it is a testament to this company they are willing to help even the hardest, most vulnerable of women without judging and offering all the help if accepted.
I am sorry that one person felt that they weren’t supported but i also know 1st hand if you want to feel supported they are there a million percent.
This is a family run company that FIGHT for their residents and as long as you WANT. They are not about monetary gain, they have seen themself short to ensure their women can live within their means.
If you want support, you will get it. In abundance. Their love comes rent-free

Hardly any support, they selectively chose who to help , not medically trained for bad mental health, was with them for 1year and two months , no progress was made , was promised so much support but yet to see the help , if I was you I highly suggest you go somewhere where you feel heard and not silenced , I wouldn’t even give this a star but shame I have to
Pe I have attached a few pics on how the houses are kept , the pics are not the same when you move in , they don’t do checks on who they move in , they’re just a bad company I wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Also notified the Birmingham council as the company is a total rip off, taking advantage of valuable women , my self included , they use the women juts to get money , please for the sake of your mental health, DO NOT GO TO BIG MOMMA HOUSING !!
Any allegations I’ve made are not untrue , as I have evidence to back up my claim ( I have voice messages , and I’ve recorded conversations with the manager with how they talk to their residents, I have screenshots , I have tones of evidence on the amount of complaints I’ve made and never listened they continued to support the bully (Hannah) , any evidence people would like of me can come and message me and I’ll provide, I have let the Birmingham council know and handed all the evidence and they will be looking into their corruption of a company , hope people look at this review and not trust them in the slightest, this is for you saydia, you need to fix up your act with how you run your failed company , you’ve fails a few other girls as they’ve came forward all these reviews are forced and been made to writes these, again I hope people read this and not go to their property as you will be bullied by others and it will never be sorted

Big Mommas Housing provides supported accommodation in line with agreed placement plans and local authority frameworks. We are not a medical provider and do not present ourselves as medically trained mental health practitioners. Where specialist support is required, residents are sign posted to appropriate external agencies.
Property standards are monitored and maintained. Regular checks are carried out in line with our procedures, and any concerns raised during a a placement are addressed appropriately.
We categorically reject any suggestion that we exploit or take advantage of residents.
This review appears to mirror allegations made in another recent review and has been published following the end of a placement.
We maintain detailed records of all placements. We reserve our rights in respect of false and damaging statements.

Best supported accommodation services I have ever used they literally gave me all the tools I never realised I had and showed me to live in sobriety and have the very best start to my new life thank u to all the staff at big momma’s xxx

Excellent company!!! Great experience with big mommas housing. Their properties are secure, safe and well looked after and fully furnished big momma’s housing really do have the best interest of all their tenants I highly recommend.

I MET AND TALKED TO SOME LOVELY LADIES.. I HAVEN'T LAUGH SO MUCH IN YEARS. I ALSO CRIED LISTENING TO LADIES STORIES AND HOW BIG MOMMA'S HOUSING HAS HELPED THEM AND WENT OUT THEIR WAY TO GET THEIR LADIES TO BE IN A BETTER PLACE WITH IN THEMSELVES. This is the best company ever that give the proper support and makes u feel safe compared with other organisations that are focused only to make money in their pockets on behalf of beneficiary...this is the only company in the whole Birmingham that goes beyond of their duty law...they are whole, they are passionate to help women's in the most needs...I'm so grateful to have them along side and to receive the proper support that I'm looking for...THANK YOU BIG MOMMA S HOUSING!!!!! ❤️
