Chris and his crew are fantastic! Every step of the kitchen remodel process was clearly communicated and all details were noted. Chris has the most transparent and thorough quotes I've ever seen with extremely fair/competitive pricing. His communication with us was always immediate and constant. Clinton and Bart were working behind the scenes making sure everything was lined up and the new items purchased and on hand. Andy, the lead carpenter, was extremely polite, professional, on time, and great at his job. He managed the sub contractors and always followed up with any issues right away. Zack was super helpful clearing out all of the old and helping deliver and install the new. The sub contractors (cabinets, plumbing, and electrical) were all fantastic and did an amazing job. It took us a while to find Chris (we talked to over six other general contractors) and I'm glad we didn't settle for any other business. He has set a new standard for everything you could want/expect in a GC. Hiring him will be the best choice you made for your next project.

5 stars isn't enough! We feel beyond lucky to have worked with the Bicknell Builds team. Communication, quality of work, dedication to schedule, realistic commitments, pricing transparency, flexibility, workmanship, advice, selection and management of subcontractors, planning, coordination with external design consultants... everything is 5 stars. We can say enough about Chris (the owner) and Andy (our PM). Our project involved and unplanned (re)renovation of our finished basement, plus a complete remodel of our master bathroom and master bedroom closet area. The Bicknell team helped us craft a plan and scope that met our needs, communicated clearly about all facets of the project, and tolerated and helped us manage the involvement of our insurance company. Our scope expanded and the targets shifted (as they often do) and the Bicknell squad felt like real partners and advocates through it all. That's really something! We can't say enough about the attention to detail and craftsmanship. No corners cut. Hard work happened almost every day with no significant delays. You might find a cheaper contractor, but you won't find a better one. I'm gushing... but I just can't say enough about this team. Want proof? We finished this first massive project with Bicknell and are already starting to plan another (bigger) project with them. This is the team we (and you) want.

We worked with Bicknell Builds for both a roof replacement and finishing an unfinished attic. Their personnel were very communicative and punctual while working on our house. All the workmanship was very well done with an attention to detail. As an engineer, I personally inspected all the work after they would leave for the day and asked many questions about upcoming planned work for the project. In addition, they were transparent and always discussed all costs ahead of time, so there was no surprises. Overall, we're so happy with how our project turned out that we're looking at other potential projects with them! We would highly recommend them.

We're really happy with the basement remodel Bicknell Builds did for us. We did time and materials, and the budget and schedule were within expectations. We're pleased with the quality of work, transparency and communication of the team as well. We would hire them again for future work! **Update:** It's about a year later and everything has gone well. We noticed a couple small expansion/contraction cracks in the grout and a plumbing fixture with a slight leak. Bicknell was quick to send out one of their guys to fix the grout and the plumber to replace the fixture at no cost to us. They were happy to honor their warranty and very quick to get it solved. They do great work and stand by it.

Chris and his team at Bicknell Builds are the definition of quality and professionalism. One thing that stood out to me was their focus on clear and proactive communication. I was called and consulted as soon as any question arose about the project. I also appreciated their use of technology to keep me updated. All materials approvals, daily updates, and invoices were made available online using their Buildbook software. Their dedicated project manager Jayson was on site daily to ensure the subs were all on track and monitor the progress. His presence kept me connected to the project and helped me feel informed and empowered at every step. The result was a beautiful whole home remodel that I’m delighted to wake up to every day!

Chris and his team are the absolute BEST! We were connected to them from a recommendation of a friend and wow, was that a win! Our project (half bathroom remodel and partial kitchen remodel) was small (about $50k) but they treated it as if it was their number one priority. Every step of the process was 100% transparent, honest and thoughtful. When a subcontractor screwed up, Chris made an amazing effort to obtain a compensatory discount. The work was done with astounding quality and competence. The primary carpenter, Luke, was really fun to deal with, too! When we had a few last minute extras to get done, they did it all without hesitation. Hire Bicknell Builds! You will not regret it.

I first went through Bicknell Builds to try to figure out a very complicated water intrusion in my house. This took several follow-up visits and some real ingenuity on Chris' part to actually find what the problem was. I was so happy to finally have a problem solved that had plagued both me and the previous owner for several years that I enlisted Bicknell Builds to build a DADU in the back yard of another home of mine. The process was incredibly intimidating but Chris and his team helped with every step along the way. They helped me balance and prioritize the things that I wanted against the budget that I had. They helped me deal with permits across county and city. They helped me plan for eventual issues such as running cables and dealing with drainage. I am very happy with the resulting new home and so are my tenants. I am so thankful for the experiences I've had with them and will definitely be throwing projects their way again.
