Contract made in late February with start date of March 30th indicated. Materials delivered two weeks before work begun. Work completed over three business days. Removed carpeting in two bedrooms, two closets, upstairs hallway and on four stairs and prepped floors and stairs on Thursday, the 30th. Ordered pre-finished flooring so wouldn't have to remove furniture from second floor and could occupy again immediately upon completion. Floor installed on next Monday and Tuesday, clean up completed and all furniture put back in place. Flooring is beautiful. Excellent, meticulous work by owner and two sons. Hard working, respectful and trust worthy. One of the sons found a fifty cent piece during work and placed it on dresser. I recommend them whole hardheartedly and without reservation. Worth every penny we paid.

Best Hardwood Floors lives up to its name. They are the best, full stop. We extended our Brazilian Cherry floors throughout the first floor and up the stairs. They hold themselves to high standards and did many things which I hadn't thought about, but really appreciate. For example, my father and aunt had both tripped on our bottom stair and it turns out that the height was slightly off; they fixed it. There was a quarter round near our sliding glass door that was maple instead of Brazilian cherry and they replaced it, not because I asked, but because they thought it was better. They checked for squeaks before they installed the new hardwood and it is noticeably quieter than our existing hardwood. They took pains to clean up both during and after installation. There is still dust - it is unavoidable when you sand floors - but less than the last time we had our floors refinished. We're already planning our next project.

Lyubomir, Daniel, and Mark were absolute professionals. They worked long days at our home in West Linn, refinishing and extending our Brazilian cherry floors with care and great attention to detail. They felt like family, giving advice that, in some cases, would equate to less money for them. We had Best Hardwood Floors LLC install new hardwood flooring in part of our home and lace it into our existing floors, then complete the hardwood refinishing/sanding, sealing and clear coating throughout the entire home. The transition between the old and new floors is absolutely seamless, you honestly cannot tell where the original floor ends and the new hardwood begins. Lyubomir and his sons, Daniel and Michael, were extremely professional and clearly take pride in their craftsmanship. They took the time to properly prep the subfloor, lace the boards in correctly, and carefully sand everything so the floor looked completely consistent before applying the finish. The sealer and clear coats they applied brought out the natural beauty of the wood and the final result looks incredible. Communication throughout the project was excellent and they explained their entire process from start to finish, which gave us a lot of confidence. You can tell they use professional equipment and a very detailed process compared to other companies we spoke with. If you are looking for hardwood floor installation or hardwood refinishing in Lake Oswego, I highly recommend Best Hardwood Floors LLC. Our floors look brand new and we couldn’t be happier with the result!

These guys are incredible at what they do! We live in Tualatin and had a different company originally refinish/stain our wood floors, but the outcome was very poor. These guys answered our call on the weekend, showed up to give us a quote hours later, and delivered the absolute most perfect result within a week. Not only did they completely save the day by getting our floors and base boards absolutely perfect (we haven't found one flaw), they were very conscience about communicating each and every day of the project. We got pictures, we got stain recommendations and samples, and we simply were given so much respect throughout. We will definitely go straight to these guys on our next project.

My husband and I purchased a 1930's home that needs some work. One of our first projects was to remove all the carpet to reveal the original Fir on both the second and third floors. The fir was in mostly good condition except the master bedroom had some faux wood linoleum glued directly on top of the real hardwood. There was also a strangely placed vanity in the bedroom, outside of the bathroom. All of this had to go. Demolition of the vanity left holes in the Fir flooring that required careful repair so as to not stand out in an odd way. When we first met Lyubomir (owner of Best Hardwood Floors LLC) for him to provide an estimate, I could tell right away that he was a true craftsman. The things he noticed about the project come from the eyes of someone with years of experience. He was very clear about how the details of the the repairs and the refinishing. Lyubomir works with his two adult sons and they are a well oiled machine. They are respectful of the home as they tape off windows and protect any walking paths. They are also delightful people to have in your home for however long your project lasts. Always professional, respectful and knowlegable. I was never stressed about the large project because I new I was dealing with someone who was a master of their craft and also someone of integrity. Even when the power went out during a storm, they were ready to bring a large generator in order to keep on working. I highly recommend Best Hardwood Floors for their skill and the high caliber of individuals you will be working with.
