Such a fantastic organisation, I went to a 4 week beginners diy course and loved all of it. I learnt loads, and Caroline is so knowledgeable and helpful. The small class sizes enabled us all to ask questions and truly understand all the new skills we learnt. I am definitely going to be booking more courses. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much!

5/5 stars for sure!! As a TOTAL newbie I started with drilling 101 and went on to do the weekly DIY Club thereafter. With 0 confidence and some nerves around using equipment, Caroline and Simon could not have done a better job at making everything chilled, accessible and clear. A great group with a great atmosphere- totally recommend!!

I recently attended the Essential Plumbing for Beginners workshop. I found out lots of things I didn't know I needed to know! I now know what to do in an emergency and I what to check regularly to keep safe. There were fun plumbing challenges and as bonus Caroline gave me advise of fixing my dripping toilet cistern.

I attended one of bePractical's short workshops and found it so helpful. Caroline really knows her stuff and is very friendly and understanding about feeling overwhelmed about DIY. It gave me the confidence to tackle a couple of jobs I'd been putting off round the house. Thank you!

Useful and completely accessible courses on DIY tools, methods and attitudes. Caroline is a wonderfully kind and patient teacher, making for a very comfortable and encouraging environment. We all had a lovely time and came away with a head full of useful information and fervour for giving it a go!

I had the best time at the 'Nailing It Beginner' course. Caroline was incredible at making everyone feel at ease and I felt I could ask any questions I had. I really liked the practical side as I was able to put into practise what we learnt. It was fantastic that at the end of the course we were provided an information sheet. I would highly recommend BePractical and Caroline! I will be back to do the 'Nailing It Next Step' course.

Fantastic course! I did taps & traps and learnt so much. The practical element of taking out and installing new sink wastes, taps and traps was so useful. Alongside the tips and tricks, I'm now confident to tackle the basics myself. Definitely will be doing more courses too! Highly recommend!

Wonderful beginner’s half day Nailing It!, lots of info and practice with hammering, sawing, drill driving. Small group so lots of personal attention. Excellent decaf tea. Along with being a skilled professional, Caroline is a warmhearted host who genuinely wants people to empower themselves to tackle DIY projects with confidence. Didn’t take any photos but I know there were some!

Went on the ' Nailing it' course last week.
Was a great little confidence building course, would recommend to anyone who's always wanted " to have a go!" at all those little round the house and garden jobs!

I did the beginners basic DIY course and as a complete beginner I really appreciated Caroline's clear and patient teaching methods. She really went back to basics and gave some great tips on tools to purchase and techniques to help with basic household DIY. I am looking forward to signing up for some of the other courses and building up my knowledge.

It was a revelation and truly empowering- I had just assumed I was no good at this sort of thing. And taking out a screw with an electric screwdriver was unexpectedly thrilling! I’ll definitely be signing up for more classes

I attended the Nailing it! workshop looking to gain some confidence with attempting small projects at home. Caroline demystified a lot of things for me and I went to B&Q the following day armed with knowledge! Will be back to learn about plumbing.
