Excellent venue! -
We visited the Benson Hall last Friday for their screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Upon arrival there was ample parking, it was easy to find and everyone working there was very friendly.
The hall itself has a well stocked bar with snacks and a mix of soft and alcoholic drinks. The seating arrangement is a few clusters of tables rather than traditional cinema seating but this allows for drinks and snacks to be stored on the tables and easier to share with friends and family.
The hall was warm, and there’s no outside noise to disturb the viewing experience of the film.
The cinema setup is phenomenal, better than some local cinemas, the Dolby Atmos sound setup makes a huge difference and really puts you in the centre of the action. The 4K projector is very impressive and displays the films at a huge size of 165”
The audience at this first showing were friendly and all seemed to have a very enjoyable evening too.
I’d hugely recommend anyone who’s interested to go along to watch Jaws in April or another future showing sometime.
The selection of classic films shown stands it apart from the typical exclusively new releases shown in cinemas, offering a rare chance to see these films on the big screen once more.
How lucky Compton Bassett and the neighbouring towns and villages are to be so close to this hall.

Absolutely amazing venue thankyou so so much for letting us have the village hall for our wedding, for working with us over months for our day to be perfect. It made our day so special :) highly recommended and think we will be back for sure for more events in the future
The road outside made for perfect pics with the background too 😊
We had the venue for the whole weekend and nothing was too much.
