Simply the best Lancaster has to offer.
What can I say bar " Quite Simply Fabulous", we stayed in the Ashton Suite which was quite sublime. I would be surprised if this is not the best room in any Lancaster hotel. The hosts from arrival to leaving could not be more professional, the bonus was the night we stayed had a wine tasting event which we were fortunate to be able to be accommodated in at short notice. The experience was outstanding from the quality of service, to the amazing food and wine pairings. In addition the ambience was just wonderful. Everyone enjoying the event which created a wonderful vibe within its fine surroundings. The quality of the bedroom is top notch with no complaints whatsoever. Parking was easy and free which is not available in most of the Lancaster hotels. The hotel is situated just out of the hustle of the center of the city but close enough for an easy walk to the shopping areas. A Safe Harbour, Providing Sanctuary and Soothing the Soul
We visited this week for my birthday which provided some moments of calm in an ocean of uncertainty. It has been far too long since our last visit as life at the moment is really tough. However, from stepping through the door, it felt like we had come home to a happy place, the stresses of life were left at the door and we enjoyed the chance to focus on being together and enjoying delicious food. Josh looked after us so well, he was attentive whilst allowing us space and facilitating a lovely relaxed pace through courses. Our starters of Moules Mariniere and Goat's Cheese Brulee were delicious. Mains of Beef Bourginion and Rump steak were equally tasty. We really didn't need any dessert however the Rhubarb Panna Cotta sounded so delicious and it really did not disappoint. It was so lovely to escape to an oasis of calm and be enveloped in a delicious oasis for just a few hours. Thank you
Another 1st class service from Ben @ BYDesign. I approached Ben regarding a newer, updated website & he came up with an amazing website with easy to navigate pages & a totally fresh look. Obviously dedicated to his job, very thorough & professional. I would highly recommend his services for anyone wanting a new website or simply refreshing their existing one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A birthday/anniversary treat
On arrival we were welcomed with a friendly greeting and shown to our table. The restaurant has a warm and cosy atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. The service given by staff was very efficient, polite, and friendly. The food is always amazing. On this occasion we ordered Isle of Man popcorn queenies and soup to start followed by lobster and the fillet steak…all absolutely delicious.

I was looking for a hotel, close to Lancaster station and one of my colleagues recommended QSF. They had never stayed at the hotel but regularly went to the restaurant for special occasions and said it was the best place in Lancaster. I was wowed when I arrived through the restaurant, absolutely gorgeous with an intimate feel and very welcoming staff. The upstairs bar area was a lovely place to check in to the hotel, were I was told that I got a complimentary glass of bubbles as part of my stay. Through the side door and up to the rooms, was like a little adventure and then we got the Ripley room. It was stunning, golden, classic and modern all at the same time. It was way better than the photos online. The little touches in the rooms make it feel like every aspect has been well thought out. The decor and the giant reed diffuser were beautiful. This was so unexpected, much better that a boring hotel room. A little bit of luxury in Lancaster, I wish I was staying for more than one night. The owner is an absolute superstar and even gave me a lift to the station in the morning. I would highly recommend QSF, I’ll be back on my next trip to Lancaster to stay again and try the restaurant.

Luxury at a very reasonable price
We stayed (sadly) for just one night but it was absolutely perfect. A lovely welcome & then an absolute delight of a room. Beautifully furnished, really comfy, all the luxury facilities that you would expect from such a lovely restaurant but at a very reasonable price. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at QSF!

Great, attentive service with a special touch to mark a celebration.
We went to QSF for my son's 18th. From the moment we arrived, he was spoiled! A balloon and shot on arrival and sparkler on his pudding. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive, and the food was fabulous. We all had a superb time and are pleased we chose QSF to mark this big birthday!

Great customer service and clear instructions. Shame I couldn’t visit due to unexpected personal event. Would love to stay there in the future and wonder if I could have some form of good will gesture to entice me back

Thank you for the review. We completely understand that sometimes unexpected events do take over. As a small independent hotel in Lancaster it is vital that we are not left with empty bedrooms on a Saturday evening, we simply would not survive. We are very transparent with our cancellation policy and the team had tried to reach out to you. In the past when unexpected situations with guests have arisen we have always done our best to resell bedrooms and if we do resell the bedroom we have always refunded the guest, we never want to be greedy, we always want to be fair. We had to hold the bedroom for you as non of the team knew of your circumstances and it is our responsibility to make sure you have a room to stay in no matter what time you might arrive. Fantastic Experience
Quite possibly the best stay we've had anywhere before! We had such an incredible time at Quite Simply French. I booked this for my Fiancé's birthday as a surprise and he absolutely loved it! Right from the beginning we both had an unforgettable experience. We were greeted by Rob and made to feel so welcome and he even upgraded us to the Ashton Suite! The room itself is stunning and they even had a little birthday treat set up for when we arrived which was so lovely. Every little detail of the room felt so luxurious and inviting, we can't wait to go back! Everyone we spoke to was so friendly and accommodating, we only wish we had stayed for food downstairs because it looked and smelled amazing. Maybe next time! Thank you to Rob and everyone at Quite Simply French for an amazing stay, it was certainly one to remember. It's a 10/10 from us!
