Jeremy Bell is shockingly unprofessional. In an email to my attorney, he described our family’s home as “gross” and even stated that he had “dirty details” to share with my attorney— that language that is completely inappropriate coming from a “licensed attorney”.
My family had only been at the home for one evening with our four children before it was to be professionally cleaned. His comments were exaggerated, unnecessary, and disrespectful. It’s disappointing to see this level of unprofessionalism from someone representing clients in what should be a professional legal process. There’s a respectful way to communicate concerns — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

This is the result of a truly unfortunate miscommunication, which, in my opinion, was caused by this reviewer's attorney (I did not represent the reviewer (seller), but rather, the buyer in this particular transaction). The email referenced in the review was intended to be between attorneys (we do that all the time to spare our clients' feelings when issues like these arise). I am sorry that the seller's attorney decided to share the email with the seller verbatim rather than only sharing what was necessary to convey the underlying message - i.e., that my clients found the place to be unusually dirty. This finding (on two separate occasions) gave rise to our request that the seller professionally clean the unit prior to the closing. As it turns out, the seller did not do so, despite agreeing to during attorney review, and had to pay my client extra funds at closing as a result. Note: the "dirty details" comment is a pun - completely misunderstood and interpreted as malicious when taken out of context (but the fact remains that, per my client, the property was dirty both during inspection and at the final walk thru). I sincerely apologize that this seller was offended by my comments, as I meant nothing personal. Just zealously advocating for my clients - perhaps a bit too much so, if there is such a thing.

I got a bit frustrated with these surprises but Avni was cool and calm, even under pressure. It is really hard to find a lawyer who is smart, efficient, tough yet very tactful and considerate.
