We spend 3 weeks during the paragliding season. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect! Nice building, clean room and confortable bed. The walking distance is a little bit far from town but totally worth it for the peace and quiet. I recommand it!

The Winter Courtyard (and the Attic Library) have chosen their bedding with utmost care - and someone like me can instantly tell. Everything from the density of the mattress, to the granular textures of the sheets are perfect. The rooms are designed in a beautiful earthy manner (pictures attached) and walking through the winter courtyard feels like walking on earth itself - it ground you, and makes you feel at home. The mud walls, the use of slate and wood, the beautiful art in the room, plus the choice of colours, ground one to a very beautiful experience. I was invited to The Winter Courtyard by Jyotsna, but I would stay in no other place on all my future visits to Bir. I am a hundred percent satisfied with this beautiful place. One can sense the amount of effort that has gone into building this sanctuary, in addition to the other properties managed by Jyotsna.

Do visit the Avva's cafe, where I had all my breakfasts (coffee, idli, dosa) for my stay in that region. I loved sitting there for breakfast everyday, and carried back with me a piece of slate that was in their courtyard.

Had an amazing experience staying here! The rooms were spotless, and the location was just perfect — we could literally watch the paragliders take off right from our balcony, and the landing site was just a short walk away. Jyotsana is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! 🌿

Pour ma première expérience à Bir, j'ai été très heureux de trouver ce magnifique logement très bien situé, dans une ambiance familiale. Les chambres sont bien décorées, propres. Avec une terrasse donnant sur la nature environnante. Il y a un parking sécurisé pour une moto. Le tout est situé à 15 minutes à pied du centre où vous trouverez quantité de bonnes adresse pour boire et manger. Je vous recommande chaleureusement Jungalow !

One of the best properties to stay at when in Bir! I host multiple trips throughout the year, and winter courtyard is a new favourite - for me and my guests. From the tastefully done interiors to the thought behind giving guests the best amenities - it’s just amazing! Spending evenings in the glass house is such a Hygge experience 🌻 And the host Jyotsna, is absolutely wonderful. Will go over and above to take care of everything.

I stayed here for 2 nights, and it was such a beautiful spot to be at. located in an accessible yet quieter location amidst the mountains of Bir - we barely stepped out of the house. it’s such a reminder of old times sake - and is designed absolutely brilliantly
