Lodging at the Behr House B+B was a top-tier experience. Firstly, I must praise the impeccable hospitality of Shelley & Jim, they made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The property and their home were gorgeous, particularly stunning ambience at sunrise and sunset. The breakfasts provided were restaurant-tier in presentation and flavor. We stayed three nights in October of 2025 and would strongly consider staying with them again in the future!

Everything about Behr House was Beyond Excellent! The grounds are beautiful, the entire House is immaculate and very warm and welcoming! Our Host, Shelley, was off the charts helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS! The location is just outside of town which means easy access but without noise and congestion of tourists visiting the town. If I could give a higher rating I would because Behr House and our Host are deserving of the best possible review!

Our stay at Behr House was exceptional! Shelley was so gracious and kind in welcoming us into her home and didn’t miss an opportunity to care for us. Our room, the Caroline, was lovely and spacious, stocked with everything we needed to feel comfortable. Breakfast each morning was a testament to her hospitality background as we had fresh honey and berries from her property, all crafted into a beautiful meal as we sat down. Attention to detail is her priority and it shows. We highly recommend staying here and will be back again!

Exceptional Our experience at Behr House was exceptional and exceeded expectations. Shelly was a gracious and friendly host who made us feel at home. Her recommendations were spot on and the food was amazing!! The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of space. Loved the location - just far enough away from town so you feel the peacefulness of the country, but close enough that you are just minutes by car from the historic downtown. We can’t wait to go back.

Booked the Caroline's Suite for a weekend get away and it was lovely. The hosts had everything prepared when we arrived they gave tremendous local food and entertainment recommendations. Both mornings we woke up to hot coffee followed by an amazing breakfast. The breakfast had a fun spin on traditional dishes with great variety. This was an amazing way to have my first Fredericksburg experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area!

The absolute best place to stay for a romantic getaway in Fredericksburg! The Behr house had delicious breakfasts and coffee. The common areas were comfortable and included a fireplace inside as well as two fire pits outside, along with a large patio, water feature and a lovely view of the hill country at sunset. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean and included everything we needed for a great night's sleep. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The drive from the B&B to main street was only about 8 minutes. Just a perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Behr House B&B. The home is beautiful, easy to find, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom that made the stay even better. Breakfast each morning was absolutely gorgeous—delicious, fresh, and clearly made with great care. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in Fredericksburg and will be recommending the Behr House to friends and family. Highly recommended!

I recently had my small intimate wedding at Behr House Bed and Breakfast and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Katie and Shelly were the most perfect hosts who helped my dreams come true. Everything was so thoughtfully curated. They have a ton of rental items to choose from as well which really helped my vision come to life! I wish I could re live my day over and over again. We were able to have our entire wedding party stay with us at the property making it even more magical. They also have a wonderful list of recommended vendors (some of which we used!). Don’t hesitate this really is your one stop shop for your intimate wedding ❤️
