We ate here several times because the food was just fantastic – especially the pizza! For me, it’s honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had. A big thank you to Antonis, his sister Eleni, and the whole team. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel like friends rather than guests. Their openness and warmth turned every evening into something truly special. We can’t recommend this place enough – not only for the amazing food but also for the wonderful people who run it with so much heart. We’ll definitely be back! 🍕✨

Ive been to multiple restaurants in all of Crete but this takes the cake as the worst one yet. Positives: Pretty nice place with a lot of different plants. The tiramisu was actually pretty good. Negatives: Very long wait time. Super small portion size. Not such a good atmosphere because they had multiple cats waiting for you to give them food. I ordered chicken with potatoes and i got 1 potato cut in half (not 2 or more) which was so salty it made my mouth bleed and the chicken was extremely bland with bad presentation. Somewhat pricey for the amount of food you get. Not a lot of options on the menu. This is not a restaurant that I recommend for people to go to.

It's always interesting how guest experiences can vary especially when, on the same day, others leave enthusiastic comments about the food, service, and atmosphere.

Our chicken dish comes exactly as described, and the portions are consistent for every guest certainly more than just “one potato.”

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant. Tolles Ambiente, die Pizzen direkt aus dem Steinofen, aber auch die Nudelgerichte sind sehr lecker. Gut gemachte Cocktails und ein sehr freundliches Personal runden das Erlebnis super ab.

10/10 אווירה פסטורלית רוח נעימה בערב גם בקיץ . שירות מושלם עם מנהלת נהדרת שסיפרה לנו שגם ביקרה בישראל . אוכל ברמה הכי גבוהה שיש בכרתים אין סיכוי לטוס בלי לבקר שם חזרנו לשם גם יום למחרת והיה שוב מעבר לכל ציפייה . הגענו למקום בטעות ומודים על הרגע הזה . נחזור שוב וממליצים!

Avis mitigé pour notre part. Un service assez long au départ puis tout s'est accéléré ensuite pour avoir les cocktail en même temps que les pizzas (accord mets et cocktails?). Cocktail avec 80% de glaçons, finalement il reste pas grand chose à boire. Deux pizza sans vraiment de saveur j'ai largement connu mieux. Prix correct si on ne prenait pas en compte ces soucis. Réponse : je comprends pour la légèreté, malheureusement nous n'avons pas pris d'aperol spritz il semble y avoir une erreur.

Our cocktails are prepared according to precise recipes and served as intended ice is part of the balance. As for the pizza, our style relies on long fermented dough and authentic ingredients: it’s a Neapolitan approach, lighter and different from the heavier versions found elsewhere. The Aperol Spritz you ordered twice the second round after your pizzas (Pepperoni and Spicy Honey) pairs very well with those flavors. We respect your personal taste, even if most of our guests appreciate exactly this lightness.

Esperienza pessima, siamo stati una sera viste le buone recensioni, la cameriera, al momento dell’ordinazione in cui tutti avevamo già scelto la pizza (eravamo tre) è arrivata al tavolo dicendo che, per ogni tavolo, è possibile ordinare una sola pizza vista la poca quantità di impasto prodotta. Ci siamo alzati e ce ne siamo andati.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen & keiner der Sterne wird der Realität gerecht !!! Ich hab genug Gastro Erfahrung um sofort den Fehler in der Küche zu erkennen, die völlig überfordert ist. Über 1,5 Stunden für 2 Pizzen, die innen roh und außen verbrannt sind ?!? Andere Gäste hatten 3 Gerichte derweil & geschmacklich kein Highlight wie aug der Karte beschrieben! Falsche Temperatur im Ofen und nichts leckeres oder "besonderes" an den Gewürzen... Service ok denn vergessen wird man selten gerne und sieht wie der Abend an einem verbaut rauscht..-.-

Basilico Nuovo is fantastic. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The pizza is easily the best I’ve had in Crete crispy, flavorful, and made with care. The pasta was delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending. Fresh, high-quality ingredients in every dish. I can’t wait to return!
