Undertow is a standout, an incredibly immersive tiki experience with amazing attention to detail in every corner. The atmosphere is transportive, the cocktails were balanced and delicious, and the whole evening felt thoughtfully curated.
The staff were wonderful from start to finish, from the welcoming hostess to the bartenders who made the experience feel fun and memorable. A seriously well-crafted night out for tiki and cocktail lovers…I’d happily drift back anytime.

We love Undertow and go every time we are visiting Phoenix from Vegas! We came in after Tiki Oasis last week, ordered a drink in the skull mug and told them we wanted to take it home. They grabbed a new mug still in the box, bagged it up for us, we paid for it and left. Unfortunately, when we got home to Vegas, we opened up the box and realized they accidentally gave us the water jug instead of the skull mug. I called them and told them the situation and the manager was kind enough to ship the skull mug to our house in Vegas, and she said we could even keep the water jug too for the inconvenience (even though I offered to send it back)! We already loved Undertow, but now we love them even more for doing us such a huge favor. Thanks so much guys! 💚💜

This is my favorite themed bar! When you can get drinks that taste like pizza or mac and cheese you know you've made it! I can see why this place won so many cocktail awards!
Favorite drink at the moment: "Shall we flamingo."

I didn't love how the sound was delayed from the window displays. But otherwise it is a great themed bar. I highly recommend the pina colada and the "zombie" drinks.

Awesome night with great drinks fun conversation and a cool vibe at Platform 18 where the staff were super helpful and made the whole experience even better so we would definitely come back and try other areas.

If you're in the Phoenix area looking for a chill spot with amazing craft cocktails and does not require reservations or have limitations on your seating time, look no further. The exterior of the location is very nondescript, which I think is awesome! The interior of the location is small, which makes it personal and very welcoming and has the feel of an old-school prohibition style louge. A true approach to mixology is taken when preparing cocktails. Fresh syrups and juices are prepared in-house. The bartenders here are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the art of cocktail making, as the drinks are deliciously well balanced. The drink menu changes periodically, so there will always be something new to try. However, cocktails can be created to your liking. This location is affiliated with Barter and Shake (look it up), and it's my favorite spot in Phoenix. You will not be disappointed! Definitely experience the science of cocktail making! This location is amazing during the various holidays of the year, and the decor is usually pretty cool. Of course, there are cocktails created specifically for these events. Tasty Hotdogs are served, and you should definitely try one. Stop by, grab a seat, relax, and taste amazing! Cheers, and I'll definitely you there!

Located within the Century Grand in Phoenix is Undertow. It's an amazing tiki bar with a nautical theme. Escapism is done well as you lose yourself in a theme created and built by Danny Gallardo (Tiki Diablo). A mixologists approach to the cocktail is taken. Fresh syrups and juices are prepared in-house. Drinks are well balanced and delicious. The staff here is amazing. Drinks only, so plan solid sustenance accordingly. The drink menu changes periodically, and as a result, there will always be something new to try. Definitely make reservations, especially going into the weekends. One of the better experiences in the Phoenix area. I will definitely see you there, cheers!
