I chose Barnham Opticians as they were local to me and had good ratings. The optician was very thorough and professional, making sure I got the correct prescription for my vision.
A previous visit had detected that my dry AMD had progressed to wet and referred me for eye injection treament which has been successful.
The staff are very professional and ensure that the service I receive is relevant for my condition.
I've been a customer now for ten years and would never go anywhere else! As a safety critical worker my vision is super important and I wound not trust anyone else. Mandy and the team make you feel valued, take great care to understand your needs and direct you to the most appropriate options. Just taken home a lovely pair of Hackett Bespoke frames with stunning Seiko lenses. If you want great knowledgeable and friendly service look no further than Barnham Opticians.

I recently had my regular eye test at Barnham Opticians and was well looked after by the team. They have a very comprehensive selection of frames and it can be quite daunting to make a choice! However, Mandy and the team helped me select some lovely new frames which I'm delighted with! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience easy, relaxing and stress-free. Excellent service and very happy to recommend.

I had been recommended Barnham Opticians by my partner and her dad. Who have used them at least all my partners life.
I cannot fault the amazing people working front of house, the receptionist was lovely. And Mandy provided exceptional service.
However, I felt as though the actual lady completing my eye test was dismissive. I went in not because of difficulty seeing but because I have found that i am very sensitive to light, (and my partner who is the same had gotten glasses prior to help with this exact issue) but I felt that my issues with light sensitivity were not listened to because my vision was good and I passed all the tests for sight without issue. This is incredibly frustrating as I am going into a more office based role at work and therefore will have an increase in working in brightly lit conditions, with computer screens.
After my appointment, we sat down with Mandy to pay. Who was lovely, and offered to see what my partners glasses were, and explained the options available. Recommending glasses that already came with blue light filters on the lens to reduce cost. She was super helpful, but this only made me question even more why the lady doing my eye test couldnt have suggested these options to me instead of telling me there was nothing they could do.
