Banyan Sebring - Wonderful place that I have the privilege to get to know, under my circumstances. Banyan and all of their staff were helpful in my recovery. They do care for their people. If it was not for them I don’t know where I would be at.

Banyon Texas is the place is you are serious about getting into recovery from alcoholism. The low level staff is very kind and does everything they can to help. If you want to address your recovery in a spiritual manner the AA program is for you.
The physical location of Banyon Texas is remote to where you can get away from it all. The grounds are spacious, relaxing and peaceful. It is located on a 70 acre piece land that used to be a ranch.
However please be advised that money is their driving force. They are definitely in it to maximize their profits. They will not give you a release date until your insurance has run out. Once insurance runs out, you are out of there whether it be a 21 day stay or a 50 day stay. The best part about this place was the AA volunteer who gave me many hours of his time for free. He was wonderful. Also you are limited to 20 minutes of phone calls per week to family that are monitored by staff on speaker phone.

Absolutely impressed with this facility! My son came from Banyan Sebring to Pampano for his PHP treatment. He was here for 30 days. He came home with so much knowledge. Not only did he have therapy daily, but he was being taught life skills, like budgeting, shopping and cooking. There are Consequences for his actions. They got him on the correct medication for his needs. He told me he didn’t think he could have had a better therapist than Sebring, then he got to Pampano and she was just as amazing! The staff was great and helped him through his journey. My son is 19, and the staff kept me informed every step of the way, they never left me in the dark wondering. One simple text message I sent I would have a call or email within an hour. If anyone is wondering where to send their loved one with mental health issues I would definitely recommend Banyan!!

Very impressed with this facility! My son was a patient here for 28 days. I feel like he learned so much. The staff was great! He’s an adult, (18) but the staff kept me in the loop with everything. As a family we have been lost for years on what to do, Banyan definitely put our minds at ease and helped my son so much! I definitely recommend this facility for those who need guidance. My son had to put the work in, and he did, but I feel like it’s because he had wonderful mentors!! His therapist was excellent! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Banyan!

Good staff. But the detox process isnt like most rehabs run it, they should keep men and women separate , detox unit should be more advanced. There was no difference with the detox and regular impatient literally no differene. They told me to bring my benzos and that they would let me take my own prescription that im not having issues with, I was there to detox off subxoone and they dont even have the strips and cannot taper u off them like u can with strips. Waste of my time for the detox tbh , I coulda done what I did there at home and actually been more comfortable. I am continuing iop ill see how thwt goes for me though.

Banyan somehow got my original review from about 8 months ago hidden so I'm leaving it again. It was: "This place went downhill big time. I was here earlier this year and loved it, friendly techs, knowledable therapists, effective psychiatrists. since than many changes were made, for the WORST. They got rid of their in person psychiatrist, and is working with a new pharmacy that is so bad that it was common to go at least a few days without your meds. This caused me to have a mental break and spend a few days in the ER. Barely conscious, confused, didnt even know where I was. I had to be strapped down and sedated many times because I was scared and didnt understand what was happening. When i was finally discharged from the ER, Banyan said they didnt have any paperwork from the hospital… its sad because most of the staff are amazingly helpful and actually care about the patients. They need to be careful with this pharmacy situation before they have a lawsuit on their hands. Im now leaving with more trauma than what I came in with. I never write bad reviews (or in general), but I felt obligated to alert people on what they may be getting themselves into"

The techs are 10/10. Very accommodating. I definitely think for the amount of money the insurance companies pay, that that more 1/1 therapy should be accommodated. My therapist Lesia was wonderful, I left early based on the accommodations of the facility, I was told by admissions that I would have unlimited phone calls, a pool, the whole 9. And when I got there it was a glorified nursing home. Several clients who I became friends with over my 14 day stay, had very similar or worse complaints. I’m just speaking up for everyone.
Mental health and drug and alcohol abuse patients do not need to be in a nursing home. They need specific treatment..
Hope the best to the employees and great techs that work there day and night that try to make changes. GG, Tk, Matt, Niesha, they’re wonderful.
The facility itself, not so much.

They have a great faith based program that exceeds other programs and Chaplain Anthony is very informative and knows the book very well given he has a Masters in biblical studies

This place was great one of the best places I've had the pleasure of staying at the staff is amazing and friendly the food is good and the facility is very clean and new the lake views from the rooms windows were beautiful I recommend this place to anyone and everyone it's a great place to help get you back on your feet

My 69 year old daughter who was an alcoholic living alone spending all her time at home and consuming alcohol every night. She finally decided that it was time for her to get some help. She contacted the rehabilitation center in Massachusetts and spent two weeks there. And I cannot believe how much she has grown since then. She has been clean now for about 100 days. Words cannot explain the difference in her life since then. She has a support group that she is continually in contact with and is a very happy lady. I am so proud of what they did for her and I am so proud of her for doing what she did on her own. Thank you so very much for saving my daughters life.

I reached out to Banyan looking for treatment. The operator on the phone took care of everything and then prayed for me. That’s when I knew this was the right place for me. From day one all of the staff were amazing. They really took care of me and went above and beyond for all the patients here. Everyone from staff to clients always help you feel welcome. They also made me feel comfortable throughout treatment, I learned so much during my stay here. It is very peaceful. there are plenty of activities to do. The therapists focus on your health and are always there to help. I want to thank everyone at Banyan. If you’re looking for treatment center this is the right place. God bless!

If I could give you guys zero stars I would. I requested to be discharged early after voluntarily admitting myself and according to every staff member I talked to, you have a policy that does not allow patients to make any phone calls unless they complete the program and get discharged on your terms. I was dumped off at some random motel at almost midnight without a phone or any other way of calling my fiancé to let her know where I was. Not a single phone call. Really? And I'm supposed to believe you guys care about our health and safety. Not one phone call. Shame on whoever came up with that policy. You should be ashamed of yourselves. And (owner) before you respond telling me to file a complaint on your website, I already did so save it. Instead of trying to come up with some bs excuse as to why the policy exists, maybe just get rid of it.
