An excellent service from Dee, Lisa and Tony. From the initial guidance on my house, the market and ideas on how to prepare for market, through to accepting an offer were first class. I was never in doubt that they were representing my interests - always happy to answer questions and provide assurance, this was an easy sale and was a pleasure to have them looking after me.
I couldn't fault all the staff at Bannerman and burke...they were all very professional, friendly and welcoming,all the advice I was given whilst selling our property was spot on...it's a long time since I last bought or sold a property and I was out of touch with property sales but they were all very easy to deal with...

I used Bannerman Burke Properties LTD in late 2025, The property went live on all the online platforms on a Wednesday, They arranged 5 viewings on the Thursday and Friday - and i received two really good offers the following Monday. If you're looking to buy or sell in the beautiful Borders, then this wonderful little company is definitely the estate agency to choose!
I first encountered them when I viewed what was to become my apartment in Hawick.
Dee was there waiting for me, with a smile, even though I was running late from a slow journey up from Newcastle.
She was full of helpful knowledge of the area and advice regarding the property and surroundings and the Scottish process, which is different to England and so her information was invaluable.
She provided some excellent suggestions for local solicitors, from which I chose one (also providing an excellent service)
My purchase was such an incredibly smooth process, thanks to Dee, Tony and Lisa, who treat their clients like friends, but without losing any professionalism!
They have once again assisted with the sale of my apartment, finding a buyer and being at the ready to answer any questions I had.
They have gone above and beyond helping with the property when I was out of the area and taking time to reassure my concerns.
I can't thank them enough.
Whilst there are several estate agents in Hawick, of which I had some encounters and valuations, I initially chose an agent with the highest valuation, however, their service was such a far cry from Bannerman's, I returned to them, feeling overwhelmed with stress and despondency and once again, Dee, Tony and Lisa took the reigns with ease and calmness and I never looked back!

In the process of selling and buying my home. All the staff that I've been dealing with have been friendly, informative and very helpful in answering all my questions. They are making the process less stressful than I had imagined it would be. I would also add that when I go into the office on the high street - the staff greet you and seem very happy that you have taken the time to visit them. All in all I am very impressed with the service being provided by Bannerman and Burke and happy to leave all the complicated stuff for them to sort out.
