Eine sehr sehenswerte Ausstellung! Es wird mit großer Professionalität das sozialkritische Werk von Banksy dargeboten. Ich empfehle den Besuch auf jeden Fall mit Dachterrasse und Kaffee. Hier ist ein ruhiger, moderner, künstlerisch wertvoller Ort geschaffen worden, der einen wohltuenden Kontrast zur vollen und lauten Altstadt bietet. Herzlichen Dank dafür, Carole!

A small but beautiful muesum just steps from the royal palace. It was a very nice stop. They offer you tea/coffee on their roof top after the tour of the muesum. The owner greets you with a smile and provides great info about the artist and the exhibit. Is a very quiet and serene stop in hectic Marrakech. If want to learn more about Banksy it is a great place to stop

Had a lovely time here. Not too big so you have plenty of time to see all the work. Carol - the owner greets you and there is a lovely café on the roof to sit and have a tea. Some original Banksy works and wall reproductions. A great way to enjoy the work of the artist without having to travel the world.

Beautiful place to visit inside the medina of Marrakech (Bab Doukala). Lot of informations about the exhibition of Banksy. It was my first time seeing all of his work and i suggest you to come visit it and know more about it. Also the team is very friendly and cool. Ps : dont forget to get a tea or a coffee in their rooftop. ♥️

J’ai adoré cette exposition autour des œuvres de Banksy : percutantes, engagées, parfois surprenantes, elles ne laissent vraiment pas indifférent. La mise en scène est soignée et rend la visite immersive du début à la fin. Mais ce qui rend ce lieu encore plus spécial, c’est tout ce qu’il y a autour… Un superbe espace rooftop permet de prolonger le moment autour d’un thé, d’un café et de délicieux petits gâteaux, dans une ambiance paisible et chaleureuse. Et surtout, une très belle rencontre avec la propriétaire : passionnée, accueillante et profondément humaine. On sent qu’elle aime ce qu’elle fait, et ça se ressent partout. Bien plus qu’une simple expo, c’est un vrai moment à vivre. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Small but impactful museum! A very nice overview of Banksy's work with a mix of murals, framed pieces and other media. All plaques are in English or French and the personell/owner is always happy to explain some things. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice tea on the rooftop with a nice view of the city. Definitely worth a visit for everyone, doesn't matter if you have or haven't seen his work before.

Coming to see Banksy in Marrakech is already an interesting paradox in itself. An anonymous, radical artist, born out of the walls of Bristol and conflict zones, exhibited in an open-air museum of a city, nestled between riads and trendy galleries. The contradiction hits you at the door, and never quite lets go. The exhibition is well put together. The works are displayed carefully, with contextual notes that help newcomers grasp the political and social weight behind Banksy’s art. You’ll find the iconic pieces: the girl with the balloon, the rats, the soldiers at play and their visual punch holds up, even in reproduction. But that’s precisely where the tension lies. Banksy built his entire practice on the unexpected: the wall you didn’t choose, the street that plays by its own rules. Here, everything is framed, lit, and signposted. The subversive becomes decorative. The provocateur becomes heritage. And you find yourself quietly queuing to photograph a work whose whole point was to disrupt exactly this kind of comfortable, curated experience. The rooftop, though, brings some of it back. Step out onto the terrace after the tour and you’re suddenly face to face with the ochre rooftops of the medina, the minarets, the low hum of the city below. There’s something quietly right about that ending, Banksy always spoke about cities, about urban spaces claimed or stolen, and Marrakech offers a raw, living version of that which no indoor gallery wall can replicate. The rooftop might just be the best piece in the show. For those discovering the artist, it’s a solid entry point. For those who know his work, it’s a chance to sit with the contradictions of institutionalised street art, which is, in its own way, worth the visit.
