Fairly disappointing overall. The class was well run and well paced, but the food was mostly mediocre. The only dish I really enjoyed was the red curry. I didn't finish the others and didn't want to take the leftovers either. The class was also very large and so felt quite impersonal. As someone who cooks a lot, I don't feel like I learned anything new here. Furthermore, there was an incredibly disruptive and obnoxious student in the class. He was loud, rude, and annoyed all the other students and teachers. He has apparently come to five classes (his words) and frankly I can't imagine why he's been allowed to return so many times. He had everyone on edge in what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable class. When he finally left it felt like the whole class breathed a sigh of relief. I would have rated this place 3 stars if not for this student. Please do not allow him to return.

Our regular classes are designed to be a relaxed introduction to Thai cooking for travelers and mixed skill levels, but we understand this may feel basic for experienced cooks. We do offer smaller professional and private classes for a more in-depth and personalized experience.
We sincerely apologize for the disruption caused by another participant. A respectful and enjoyable atmosphere is very important to us, and we will address this with our team.

I love thai food and cooking, this class was one of the best cooking class taken, teacher moves quick which I loved, easy recipes, easy steps ! Amazing how fast you can prep and cook and enjoy! The market walk through was a lot of help to visualize when we are looking ( which I did when I came home found local market) came in handy everything we learned! Was able to remake dishes at home with ease!! I definitely recommend this class! Can’t wait to be back to take another class and learn more!! Thx you everyone!!! Made my trip even better

Eight of us ladies (in a class of 13) had the most fantastic experience at Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy. The class was incredibly well run and so much fun. We each got to choose our own menu, four dishes with multiple options for each course, so everyone cooked exactly what they wanted. Chef Lekky and her team were amazing. There were no recipe sheets to follow; instead we simply listened and watched Chef Lekky. She ran the kitchen like a conductor leading an orchestra, everything flowed perfectly and she somehow kept eight of us on track without a single fail. And the best part… the food! I genuinely think the dishes I cooked were some of the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. An unforgettable experience and highly recommended.

The food we made was really good. I really appreciated the choose your own menu option. Since people were cooking different things, sometimes it got a bit chaotic but overall I was impressed with how smoothly everything ran. Easily accommodated vegan diet. We made so much food, we couldn't eat it all in one meal, so expect to leave with some of it!

Super cours de cuisine ! Possible de faire entièrement végétarien ou vegan, la prof est d’une écoute et réactivité totale, le cours est motivant et super intéressant. Pour les gens qui pensent y aller : penser à pas beaucoup manger avant ou à prendre ce qu’il reste avec vous ; c’est dommage qu’autant de gens jettent leur nourriture à la fin.

What a special afternoon. We had so much fun cooking 4 vegetarian dishes and learning more about Thai herbs and veggies on the market. AND eating it was great too. It was all clean, well prepared and explained- very professional and warm at the same time. We come back for another class!!

La nostra esperienza alla Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy è stata fantastica. L’istruttrice ci ha spiegato tutto e anche il giro al mercato locale ci ha fatto conoscere cose che prima non sapevamo! Abbiamo fatto la classe vegana con opzioni senza carne, pesce, uova, latte. Ci hanno sostituito tutto con competenza e qualità. Una piccola postilla riguarda il Pad Thai: purtroppo la nostra chef, presa anche dalla confusione, non ci ha fatto aggiungere subito la salsa (probabilmente nella versione originale del pad thai bisogna mettere la salsa di pesce prima della salsa al tamarindo). Omettendo questa o un sostituto i noodles si sono attaccati alla padella e il risultato finale non è stato ottimale. Per il resto tutto buonissimo, bellissimo e spiegato bene!

Superbe expérience et je reviendrai c'est sûre 🙏 Cheffe Leki explique très bien les étapes des recettes elle est secondée par une assistante cheffe qui nous supervise et tout se passe bien. Les lieux sont adaptés et les ingrédients de qualité premium. Je recommande à celles et ceux qui veulent vivre une autre façon de voyager.

I had an amazing time at the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy, learning to prepare some of Thailand’s signature dishes. The entire experience was both fun and educational. The instructor was not only skilled but also very humorous, making the class even more enjoyable. We cooked a variety of dishes, and the results were simply delicious! It felt so rewarding to enjoy food that I had prepared myself, especially as a first-time cooking class participant. The hands-on approach and guidance from the instructor made sure everyone was comfortable and confident in the kitchen.
