Yummy food and great seats
We loved our experience there this week. We paid 20 dollars for two chairs for the day and got to use their facilities and order food- not sure if we were duped and you can just order food and have a chair but whatever! It’s a little hard to get a waiter but when he did come he was awesome. Does anyone actually know if you have to actually pay for the chairs if you’re eating there? Only downside is the vendors- after a while they toned it down but it was awful the first hour

Bananarama Beach Club was the highlight of our day in Roatán!
We chose the day pass option and spent a fantastic four hours (10 AM to 2 PM) enjoying everything this beautiful club has to offer.
The included beach chairs were comfortable, plentiful, and the setting was perfect. The beach itself is absolutely excellent—soft sand, crystal-clear water, and a great spot for swimming.
What really made the experience shine was the friendly staff. They were welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and fun.
If you're looking for a top-notch, worry-free way to enjoy West Bay Beach for a few hours, the Bananarama day pass is the way to go. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Booked a free-cancellation room back in 2024, but had to cancel in the allocated time limit. Had to request a Credit Card chargeback as the place refused to initiate a refund. Scammers and clearly untrustworthy. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Diamond in a rough on a sandy beach.
This was our second time in Bananarama, both times for 8 nights with 5 days of diving. It would be difficult to find a better location and impossible to find a better dive shop. If you want a typical Caribbean atmosphere, Bananarama is it. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, and great value. No TV is a plus to get a real break from the real world, while one can watch games at the bar, while sipping very tasty cocktails. Rare find, right on the sandy beach with tropical reef nearby for snorkeling and diving. Especially rare due to large, noisy resorts that are developing throughout the islands, which is not our idea of a getaway. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Dive shop is the best we experienced. We dove with Zoe, and couldn't have had a better dive master, who found the most interesting creatures at the amazing dive sites.
Our cruise ported in Roatan for the day and we were looking for a place to spend the day at the beach. Bananarama met our needs exactly! They provide a private section to us with chairs and umbrellas. The pickup from the port was smooth but getting back was a bit hectic because everyone was trying to make it back to their ship so traffic had us a bit concerned. We made it to the ship with 30 minutes to spare so I highly advise to leave the beach early. The bar was good and the location on the beach was great!
Our experience overall was 10/10! My kids enjoyed themselves.

I thought it had a pool, but it didn’t and on the pictures online It looks like it has a pool. That was a big thing as we were expecting one…The AC in the living room was not working, but they were really quick and fixed it right away. They had a fire show that day in the afternoon but nobody had announced it and we left to do something else and we came back it was over. We missed the whole thing. if we would’ve known, we probably stayed! Lack of communication to customers. I did love the happy hour hour! Overall, location was great. I would stay there again although I wish they had a pool so that’s gonna make me think twice.

the breakfast include in our package was the same options for the 3 days we stayed. the hotel street was havng construcción , so we had to walk to get into the hotel. no easy car access.

This is wonderful for what it is, a rustic beach stay.
Pros:
The location is amazing.
The staff were amazing!
Loved to secluded feel and enjoyed the hammocks and watching the humming birds.
Walk to everything in just a few minutes.
What it is not:
This is not a resort with luxury linens and a polished feel. Think of your great uncles old and comfy summer cabin, the sink maybe chipped, there’s no tvs and it’s just basic accommodations.
With all that we loved it! My teen boys said they would stay there over a posh resort any day and I agree.
