DO NOT consider this center! It's a shame how toxic this center is! They genuinely DO NOT care about the children in this center! On top of that, the owners are charging Montessori tuition despite NONE of the teachers being certified! The high teacher turnover in this center is a clear indication of how much they value their employees! They are more interested in increasing the enrollment numbers and crowding the classrooms then providing quality care! Also, they have no incentives for the families they serve! No sibling discount, no vacation weeks!
My daughter has been here since she was 11 mos old and is currently 2.5 years old. She has had numerous teachers with all of them leaving within a year of being employed there. The owners (Justyna & Alan) don't care about the well being of the teachers nor students and are only money hungry. Teachers in the facility are not Montessori certified but are hired as being lead teachers in the room. Recently a teacher was hired with prior termination from her old facility for being too aggressive with the kids, this teacher is now a lead teacher in the two year old room. The new assistant director, Vanessa Pham, talks poorly about former staff and has fired former stuff under false pretenses.
We had a meeting with leadership this morning and voiced our many concerns and instead of taking accountability, apologizing or trying to make it right they told us they no longer felt comfortable caring for my child. Alan and Justyna should be ashamed of themselves. Please reconsider keeping and/or enrolling your child at this center.
Trust your instincts — this is not the nurturing Montessori experience we hoped for.
Our family enrolled our daughter at Bambini Montessori out of necessity when our previous daycare closed. At first, under the original director, the environment felt supportive and genuinely caring. Unfortunately, once leadership changed, everything changed with it — and not for the better.
The new director’s approach felt punitive and reactive rather than developmentally supportive. We were once called to immediately pick up our daughter for “spitting,” only to later learn that no adult actually witnessed it — another three-year-old reported it. There was no communication beforehand, no opportunity to address concerns, and no understanding of what was actually developmentally appropriate.
Potty training was another major red flag. Due to staffing issues, children were moved into a class that required them to already be trained — with little to no guidance or patience for those still learning. We were told bluntly to “figure it out by June 9th or she’s out.” Despite our efforts and obvious progress, the center repeatedly sent home warning letters and ultimately dismissed our daughter for not being fully trained. The experience left her anxious and fearful about using the bathroom.
What hurt most was how little empathy or developmental understanding was shown throughout the process. We even discovered misleading information shared with the Maryland Department of Education about who was in charge — which was deeply concerning.
Since leaving, our daughter has started at a new school (The Goddard School), and the difference is night and day. She acclimated within a week, waves goodbye happily every morning, and became fully potty trained shortly after starting — all because she finally felt safe, supported, and cared for.
I waited two months to write this because I wanted to be sure it wasn’t just frustration speaking. But now I can confidently say: this school may care for some children, but only those who quietly comply with their rigid expectations. If your child needs warmth, patience, or genuine developmental support, I strongly urge you to explore other options in the area before choosing Bambini Montessori.
We had a great experience at Bambini. With it being our toddler’s first school experience, we were pleased with the level of patience of the teachers/staff as he adjusted to the school routine. Receiving consistent communication and pictures via the app was comforting for us as parents. It is evident that the teachers and staff are passionate about supporting the developmental needs of the children. Had we not relocated, our child would still be at Bambini and thriving.
My son will begin at Bambini next week but so far the entire staff I have met so far are so nice and helpful. The enrollment process has been very easy and they walked me through everything. It’s my sons first time at an in center daycare and I feel like we made the right choice with Bambini. I will update once we are settled and have been here for a while. But so far so good!
My son has been attending for three weeks now. He started without knowing any English, but he has already made many friends and is having so much fun. One day, he came home singing a song he said he sang with his teacher — it was such a sweet moment!
The school also shares photos through the app from time to time, so it’s great to see what he’s been doing during the day.
Thanks to the warm support from not only his homeroom teacher but also the director and assistant teachers, he was able to adjust quickly and happily. We’re truly grateful!
Bambini Montessori has been amazing for our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. The teachers are top notch, the staff is top notch, and I would highly recommend this place if your looking for somewhere where your child will be cared for and will learn a lot and learn quickly!

I love Bambini Academy! All the staff are so heart warming and very welcoming, professional of course! My 2yr old daughter started last week and she loved it right away. Ms Tasia and director Marleene helped a lot with getting my daughter adjusted, feel safe and cared for! As a parent it’s hard dropping off your child on their first day of school but I felt at ease knowing she was in good hands! I also love Bambini Academy is bringing in programs for the children! It’s my 3 yrs old daughter’s first time going to a daycare. I was so worried about her. But everything turned out surprisingly smooth for her transition. Ms.Francesca took care of my girl very gently and patiently the first week to help with her transition. And my daughter started to love to go there the very second day. And now they have Ms. Jimena as the 3s main teacher. I always hear my daughter says she loves Ms Jimena and Ms Francesca. Trusted teacher is one of the most important elements when I choose a daycare.
I also love the pictures they post on the app so I know what my girl does during the day. I am so glad that I made the right decision!
