I am extremely happy with Dr. Howard, but I would also like thank his PA Taylor Jermen. She is wonderful!!!! Thank you for your good care and renewing my prescription so promptly. You go above and beyond the call of duty and I so appreciate you. I’d also like to give a shout out to the staff in both the New Port Richey office and the Palm Harbor. So kind and professional and great about returning phone calls. Not all medical offices are like that.

Very disappointing experience. I would not be comfortable having him treat me or my family. I came in after a significant fall with persistent localized swelling, numbness, hypersensitivity to touch, and intermittent sharp/electric pain below my knee and a catching/snapping feeling when I twist or kick. Dr Howard focused almost entirely on mild arthritis in my x Ray. When I specifically raised the numbness and soft-tissue pain from the original injury, I did not feel they were meaningfully evaluated or addressed. I pressed multiple times for answers to my problem and he finally said, “I don’t have MRI vision, but you probably have a meniscus tear.” He did not recommend an MRI to diagnose the issue or offer any suggestion other than shots which seem to be the only treatment he is aware of because I asked if there are any other remedies I could try and he went on about ridiculous surgery he could do u til I interrupted and said no I meant something like ice or heat- said, “yeah sure try it and see if they work” . I expected a more thorough, patient-centered evaluation and left feeling dismissed.

I loved his calm nature - very good listener - cared about my pain level- and explained what we can do to help elevate my pain! Very knowledgeable. We agreed on cortisone injection - and it is helping already !!
