An amazing experience of safari Unfortunately, my flight was delayed for eight hours and I arrived in Nairobi around 10 pm. I messaged the company at about 11 pm to book a safari tour for the next morning—very last minute—and the staff still replied promptly, making sure I didn’t miss my plans.Our guide was Mohammad, a very kind, friendly, committed, and knowledgeable person with a comfortable and clean car. He created a lovely and exciting safari experience for us, together with our wonderful travel companions.Everything about the tour was well-organized. The only issue was on the last day: since our schedule was different from the rest of the group and they had returned a day earlier, the company sent different cars to pick us up, which resulted in us switching vehicles three times. This part was a bit uncomfortable, but overall the tour was great and everything went according to plan.They are a very reliable tour company, and everyone I interacted with from their team was genuinely kind and trustworthy.

Big big thanks to Dennis! It was amazing experience! I don’t have enough words to describe our experience with AXIS SAFARIS and our very special guide Dennis. From the very first moment I contacted Tabitha, she responded professionally to all my questions and assisted me right up until our arrival. We chose a 7-day safari that included the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli. We paid extra for accommodation in luxury lodges, and we were absolutely satisfied with the conditions and the exceptionally high level of service. Best value for the money. We are glad that we chose November for our safari there were no crowds which allowed us to be in very close proximity to the animals.And then our incredible adventure began. Oh God, it was amazing that we ended up with Dennis. Such a professional—caring, smiling, kind, positive, and friendly. He took care of us every moment and responded to the wishes of each one of us. During the safaris, he always positioned us in the closest and best viewing spots near the animals, despite the other jeeps. He told us a lot about Africa’s wildlife and flora. We managed to see all of the Big Five and much more, including lion prides. We were literally 2–3 meters away from every animal. I asked her a lot of question and also changed my plans several time since I was booking for a group of 7 student and she has been very patient and accommodating. The first day of the safari we have been picked up from our hotel and brought to the office of Axis. From there onwards we have been taken care by Yasin, our driver and guide which has been with us for the whole Safari. As I mentioned in the title Yasin has been the perfect mix of professionalism and flexibility. In fact he always drove very carefully, giving a lot of information and answering all our questions. In the park he was the first to ask to the ranger the permission to get closer to the animals so that we could get the best spots to take pictures. On the other hand he has also been super flexible in accomodating our requests and desires. He accepted to extend our first game drive from 8 hours to 12 hours! We left at 7 and came back at 19:00. This was because he did not want to leave the park before being able to find a male lion and we found three brothers around 18 with perfect light from the sunset. So we could really not have asked for a better service. Also the second game drive in Lake Nakuru has been super nice and even if it was supposed to finish at 17, Yasin extend it till 19:00 so that we could enjoy the sunset from the lake in front of the flamingos. During the drives he also gave us a big speaker to put on music and two binoculars. Moreover he had a book with all the birds of east africa and everytime he was telling us the exact name of the bird that we were seeing so that we could look it up also in the book. Regarding the accomodations and food they have also been super nice. This was because he did not want to leave the park before being able to find a male lion and we found three brothers around 18 with perfect light from the sunset. So we could really not have asked for a better service. Also the second game drive in Lake Nakuru has been super nice and even if it was supposed to finish at 17, Yasin extend it till 19:00 so that we could enjoy the sunset from the lake in front of the flamingos. During the drives he also gave us a big speaker to put on music and two binoculars. Moreover he had a book with all the birds of east africa and everytime he was telling us the exact name of the bird that we were seeing so that we could look it up also in the book.

Regarding the accomodations and food they have also been super nice. We chose the cheapest option but the first lodge in Masai Mara was still very comfortable even though it was not luxurious, but that's part of the experience I think. The hotel in Nakuru instead was very elegant with also a swimming pool that we could use and great food.

I could keep writing a lot but then it would be a bit too long of a review so I just conclude by saying that this has been my first safari and he exceeded all my expectations thanks to the organization of Axis and especially to the guide of Yasin.

Highly recommended to everyone especially considering the great ratio quality/price.

Really recommended! Yasin is a great guide! Axis safaris was really professional with their detailed explanation and planning. The pricing was really good compared to some other places we checked. They paired us with Yasin who was a true professional. His love for his job and nature really made it memorable for us. As he says safari is a bit of luck but his knowledge and connections gave us the chance to see all the animals we wanted (some rare ones such as cheeta and leopards as well!). His car was comfortable and well cared for and he never tried to opted out of doing extra hours or longer stays. He was alwayd like "take your time". He even waited 20 mins to search a book for the name of a bird our friend asked about. I felt like having a companion and not a guide only and this made it a special journey.

Best experience ever with Khalifa and Erick A group of friends and I left for the Masai Mara on November 18, 2025, until November 20, 2025. In just two days of safari, our guide Khalifa managed to show us all the Big 5! Khalifa, our guide, and Erick, the professional photographer, were a fantastic team who made our experience literally unforgettable! Although our package did not include a professional photographer to take photos and videos with a professional camera, we had the opportunity to have Erick take a photo book of us and the animals for free. Khalifa and Erick were extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and kind. During the trip, they explained everything there was to know about the fauna and flora of the Masai Mara and also about the history of the country, all while offering us snacks and fruit along the way. Khalifa also lent me and my friends money several times to buy souvenirs from the Masai, as we didn't have any local currency, as well as letting us play our music in the jeep! He was not only excellent at his job, but also as a person. We stayed at Lenchada Camp, a very good camp with excellent staff and food.I highly recommend Khalifa, Erick, and Lenchada Camp. They made our experience unique and unforgettable! Khalifa and Erick the best of the best!!!

professional, witty, and with his heart in the right place It was our first trip to Africa and we were thrilled from the start by the hospitality and breathtaking landscape with its fantastic wildlife in Kenya. Our guide Jack did everything he could from the outset to ensure that we saw as many sights and animals as possible.
