The clinic staff at Hitchin are lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Very clean reception area with chill out music playing (although I would have preferred some Beatles!). I then had a 40+ year old 1cm wide wart removed from my thumb. The procedure was pain free due to a local anaesthetic and the doctor made it clear the aftercare to follow for a trouble free healing process. One week on and everything is healing nicely - so a great clinic outside of London - plenty of parking out the front - and I highly recommend it.

The service from the whole team from start to finish was second to none. The reception team were very welcoming and the attention to detail from the doctors was perfect as well. I was well looked after when I underwent my hair transplant process and the aftercare that followed just showed how much they cared about you. If I needed any help whatsoever, the team are always just a text away to answer any questions. I would recommend visiting Aventus Clinic if anyone needs any hair treatment from consultation to transplant or just even a PRP treatment.

I recently had a minor surgical procedure to remove a lesion, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The appointment ran exactly on time, and I was in and out within half an hour, which was really impressive. Claire Alajooz carried out the procedure and she was absolutely brilliant — very polite, with a lovely, genuine smile. She immediately put me at ease and explained everything clearly. You could tell she genuinely cares about her patients, and that made a big difference. Overall, a very professional, efficient, and reassuring service. I would highly recommend them.

I am very happy with my experience at Aventus. After careful evaluation of my hair loss, the surgeon advised me to have a FUT as opposed to FUE, even though Aventus does not offer FUts. Aventus subsequently emailed me the links to two clinics offering FUTs that they recommend.

Very disappointed. They say they give a free consultation but I had to pay £275 and so I was expecting treatment to remove age spots. At the consultation they ordered about 5 different expensive creams for me from another company which I didn't want and so I cancelled them when I got home. Don't recommend this place at all and will now go elsewhere.

We would like to clarify that we offer a free virtual consultation; where photographs and information are reviewed by a specialist to confirm suitability for an in-person consultation and potential treatment. Only once this step is completed do we proceed to arrange a formal face-to-face consultation which is explained clearly during the initial phone call.

Any face-to-face appointment with a consultant dermatologist is a formal medical consultation, which involves a detailed history, examination, and personalised treatment recommendations, and this is charged accordingly. Again, this is clearly explained before you proceed to book an appointment.

During private consultations, recommended treatments and prescription skincare are tailored to the individual and, as with all private medical care, medications and products are not subsidised by the NHS and therefore carry an additional cost. There is never any obligation to proceed with recommended treatments, and you were entirely within your rights to decline or cancel them.

I had a course of 8 laser hair removal sessions. The service is very professional. Cara is great - prompt for appointments, very professional, always explained clearly and made sure I was comfortable with the treatment. The treatment was almost painless. The reception staff are also very professional and helpful. It's easy to reschedule appointments through the WhatsApp chat and they are very flexible and accommodating. Unfortunately the treatment itself hasn't really worked too well for me. I had a course of 8 sessions but there's still a lot of regrowth. To be fair, they do tell you this is a possibility and that more sessions might be needed. Given the extent of the regrowth after 8 sessions I'm reluctant to spend more money on this, when it still might not work, so I've decided I will go back to other hair removal methods instead.

Quite possibly the best care I’ve received in a while. Absolutely seamless. Sent a request in on 26th of December to have 2 cysts on my head removed, more than willing to wait after new year to hear back but this wasn’t the case at all. The next morning, I got a phone call and got booked in for early in the new year. Every single person who works in this clinic couldn’t be more lovely and personable. The clinic is so easy to find via driving or public transport. From start to finish it was so quick and easy. 10/10. No notes✨

Polite and helpful from the first call! In and out very quickly but everything was explained in detail before the procedure. After care is told to you but also given to you in hard copy as well as sent by email. It's only been a week and a half and I ve already had a follow up email. The scab has fallen off and though some healing still to take place very pleased with what had been done (mole removed from chin). Just wish I could have afforded to do the other one on my face that the surgeon kindly thought I was also having done !!

We have reviewed your records and can see that your last PRP session took place over a year and a half ago. As discussed at the time, PRP for hair loss is a maintenance-based treatment and typically requires ongoing reviews and adherence to the recommended treatment plan.

Regular follow-up appointments are important to assess response and optimise results, as outcomes can vary between individuals.

Our hair loss programme has helped many patients over the years, however we recognise that results are individual and depend on several factors, including consistency with treatment and follow-up.
