It was my first time taking my car for an oil change. They did a whole assessment of the car and what it needed. They called me and gave me a great explanation of the work that needed to be done, what should be addressed first and what could wait. Excellent customer service and work on the car.

I got one of their coupons, $20 off oil chg. Called, they use an AI bot, asked how much oil chg, 69.95, I said synthetic, v yes, for all cars, yes. Can u apply the $20 cotton yes, so 49.95, yes, booked it. Get there and it's 79.95 after coupon. Really, what kinda crap is that?! Total misrepresentation and they would not honor what their bot said. If ur not messes up, u still have to honor it, then fix it!

Had an awesome experience with these guys. George and Scott were great. I had my car towed in after midnight last night. First thing this morning they called me and told me what they’re gonna charge up front and asked to proceed. A couple hours later they called me with the work that should be done with an online list and then they followed up with a phone call to discuss it all. Very quickly I narrowed down what to do now and what we could hold off on. They were quick, painless, and made payment easy and efficient. Over $2,000 in work done right away. One day turnaround. They clearly know what they’re doing. I will definitely be using them again.

Today when I arrived at work I suddenly smelled burning and saw smoke rolling out from under my hood. When I popped the hood I discovered that a hose had come loose. I ran over to AutoStream to see if they could help. I explained my situation to George who promptly came out to take a look. He got a tool to reconnect the hose and then filled the coolant chamber. He spent at least 15 minutes with me and was so kind and friendly. When he was finished I asked what I owed and he said nothing. As I was driving over there I was expecting the worst case scenario, including a potentially hefty bill, and instead left with my car fixed and a reminder that there are still genuinely kind people out there that are willing to help. I was back to work quickly and did not have to worry about logistics or my long commute home. Thank you so much for your help and kindness George!

I highly recommend AutoStream in Clarksburg. I took my car in for an alignment during a recent storm. They got me in and out and shared what they did to correct my alignment. I had my baby with me and they were extremely considerate about that. They ensured that we didn’t walk in the rain to get in our car. I told my husband that they must be good dads and husbands, because they thought of the little things to make me comfortable. The cost was in line with what others charged, but ultimately chose them because of their great reviews and location.

I want to start by noting that I do not write reviews for places, let alone negative ones. However, I believe it would be negligent to not inform other customers or potential customers of my poor experience at Autostream in Clarksburg. I wanted to try out a new mechanic nearby and was looking forward to this place. This was my first time getting service and it will certainly be my last. For context on all of this, my car is only 1.5 years old. Therefore, maintenance issues are limited at this time.
I had an 8am appointment this morning for a routine oil change. I arrived promptly at 8am and was told that it would be 1.5 hour wait. The process ended up taking over 2 hours.
However, this is not the reason for my negative review and complaint. Upon returning to retrieve my vehicle, I was given a list of “recommendations” for review. I would like to outline each as I find that they are not only unnecessary but downright deceptive:
“BG Engine Plus Service - Recommended Engine cleaning service” $136.87 - This was supposedly because my oil was over 2000k miles overdue. This is not factual. A synthetic oil change lasts for 5k miles. My car actually had a bit less than this since the last oil change, mid 4k miles ago. Despite this, even if customers went over by a small amount, this would not result in an entire engine cleaning.
“Remove and Replace Brake Light Bulb” $84.45 - This is where I am frankly most disappointed and concerned. The pictures they included did not show any brake lights lit up at all on either side. When I checked the brake lights myself multiple times, they were both functioning just fine and not at all broken. I’m not sure where they discovered this issue or why they were so quickly willing to want to charge me for this when it was not even broken to begin with.
“BG Fuel/Air Induction Service” Cited as overdue by mileage. - $239.95 - The car has 27k miles on it. This service isn’t recommended until AT LEAST 30k and upwards of 60k miles on it. This is not needed whatsoever at this point.
They additionally recommended a wheel alignment and tire rotation even though I declined this when I dropped the car off since this service had just happened a few months ago at the dealership.
Also, this is not to mention that there is a grease stain now on the interior roof on my car that I will need to get cleaned. I know that I’m not touching the ceiling of my car with oil or motor grease and it wasn’t there before I dropped off the car this morning.
All in all, I cannot in good faith recommend this location/business. I am concerned by their willingness to mislead to consumers about needs for the car that aren’t even present or actually warranted. I understand “maintenance” and “precautions” but this extends far beyond those recommendations. I will be finding another mechanic with honest practices in the future.

I came right at opening time with no appointment to get a hole patched up in my tire. Everyone was helpful and welcoming, they answered all my questions and took the time to educate me about my vehicle. I was in and out in under an hour and was able to apply my AAA discount to my service!
