Looking for your wedding entertainment? Take it from me, a Jacksonville wedding planner, that you need to look no further than Atlanta Wedding Band. I had the pleasure of working with AWB at Timuquana Country Club this February, and they truly set the bar high for my standard of wedding entertainment for my couples. Their responsiveness throughout booking and leading up to the wedding wowed me from the start, and was the precursor to a fantastic event. Their professionalism and dedication to excellence shone through every detail, big and small. They brought energy, passion, and joy to my couple's wedding like I had never seen before. They handled a multiple-space reception with ease, and always knew what vibe to bring. We had a relaxed jazz-style cocktail hour, upscale dinner hour, and ended the night with a packed dance floor while guests sang along to country hits and pop throwbacks. Our experience with the Atlanta Wedding Band was phenomenal and exemplary from first inquiry to the double-encore. My wife and I were financially responsibility for the majority of our wedding expenses, and as the groom I was charged with sorting out entertainment for our reception... enter the Atlanta Wedding Band! From the jump Casey was responsive, easy to work with, and seemed genuinely excited for AWB be part of our day. Their quotes are produced promptly and all pricing is available for discussion and review up front which is a huge bonus for couples navigating a budget. Another distinction is that AWB is flexible, allowing for changes or alterations to the plan up to a short window in advance. Casey and crew handled the logistics of our ceremony PA & musician, cocktail hour entertainment, and then Mike and the gang blew the party away for hours as a 6 piece band. We had all generations present on the dance floor making for so many special moments! AWB offers couples options for payment too. Notably, if part or all of the event balance needs to be paid via credit, the band will waive/pay the fee themselves, leaving couples with just the agreed-upon price as if paid in cash. TL:DR- AWB is a fantastic group of musicians and they know how to throw a party. There are so many nuances to wedding entertainment, and having both attended weddings and hosted a wedding where AWB was in charge, they deserve to be on your radar as you prep for the big day. The 5-star reviews are absolutely deserved!

His energy, charisma, and professionalism set the tone for the entire evening. He handled all the introductions perfectly, kept the night flowing seamlessly, and somehow managed to make the whole event feel both elevated and wildly fun. Getting to chat with him and learn a little about his family and travels made the experience even more personal — you can tell he truly loves what he does. From the very beginning, Casey made us feel completely taken care of. The planning process was organized and thoughtful, from the detailed music questionnaire to their willingness to accommodate every special request — even making a last-minute switch to play our dinner and cocktail hour playlist. They truly went above and beyond to make sure the night reflected us. And the band? Absolute rock stars. The energy, the vocals, the talent — everything was next-level. They even let us up on stage to live out our Pink Pony Club dreams, which was an unforgettable highlight for us and our guests. One of the most memorable moments of the night was when the band invited my dad, my brother, my best friend, and my dad’s longtime bandmate up to play a song. Atlanta Wedding Band didn’t just allow it — they joined in, accompanying them and filling out the sound like the true professionals they are. Watching my dad and our friends perform together, surrounded by our loved ones, was one of the most special moments of the entire night. It’s something we — and our guests — will never forget. Most fun I ever had with my clothes on! Atlanta Wedding Band made out wedding a true celebration and party! They played songs from all genres and all decades to make sure no guest was left out by the choice of music! They learned songs for us! Played a special request for our intro. Interacted with the crowd! Mixed a great sound in a concrete room! I’m a professional musician. My friends are all professional musicians. They all want to hire these band members for studio and performance work. They were great performers as well as technically talented musicians! They gave us all we could have wanted in a band! Hire them. They were worth every penny. 1000000 times better than a DJ.

After seeing AWB perform at our cousin’s wedding, it was hard to imagine our wedding without them. Rest assured to know that they are consistently amazing! Casey was a hoot to work with and I loved how honest he was about what they can and cannot do. Even leading up to our event, I had several vendors tell me that they’ve worked with AWB and was excited to work with them again. They truly made our day so special with our quirky requests. They also bought us so much street cred as we got compliment after compliment. Just book them!

Atlanta Wedding Band absolutely crushed it at our wedding! From the very first song to the final notes of “Free Bird,” the energy never dipped, and our dance floor was packed all night long. They knew exactly what to play and when to play it, reading the room perfectly and keeping the vibe high from start to finish. The emceeing was also spot-on. The introductions for our bridal party and our own bride & groom entrance were perfect and set the tone for the night. A special shoutout to Casey, who made the planning process not only easy but actually fun. He really listened to what we wanted and brought it all to life with great energy and creativity. Also, if you’re thinking about adding the party fiddle option, do it. Their “Devil Went Down to Georgia” performance was a major highlight and had the dance floor going wild! Atlanta Wedding Band was everything we hoped for! Professional, fun, talented, and just a joy to work with. I truly can’t recommend them enough if you want a nonstop party on the dance floor!

The actual quality of the vocals /instruments were amazing there is no denying that! I’ve never written a non 5 star review on Google but was feeling bummed after our wedding because we had spent hours on a questionnaire sent to us by the wedding band asking about our preferences and they gave us 5 must play songs and didn’t play all of those 5 (was missing Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake) as well they gave us a spot to list out all of the songs from their offerings that we wanted and skipped many of them while playing a bunch of other songs that weren’t on the list (was missing Come on Eileen, Feel So Close, Hips Don’t Lie, We Found Love, Congratulations, Stay and would’ve loved to have heard these because they were some of our favorites and we spent a couple hours going back and forth through the list they provided picking our favorites). we figured they’d play our list first before moving on or at least make time for the ones we had requested but sadly that wasn’t the case. They also had an option for 5 songs we could have them learn which they only played one of (but I understand for those, they were a little more complicated). TLDR - sound and vocals were impressive, just be ready to be flexible with their song choices.
