With very little exercise after our move to Dubai, and the wealth of wonderful food available here, I'd put on 6 kgs very quickly.
Walking, or using the gym wasn't doing it for me. Then I saw that Athleaders had opened a branch here. I know have 2 trainers coming over. I workout on alternate days. And while I can't say I love exercising, I actually look forward to the fun sessions.
And best of all -- my scales show a weight loss of 5 kgs.

I have been taking remote fitness classes. It has been fantastic. Bernhard is a great coach and an expert at all things fitness related.
Update on 23 Jan 2022: Over the past month, I have received personal training from Athleaders trainer Ang Weiyang. He has been professional, friendly, and very good at gauging and pushing me. At the end of the 10 sessions, I found myself to be considerably lighter, and I even felt stronger. All in all, an excellent service with great value for money.
Update on 22 November 2025: Athleaders' nutrition program has been helping me stay fit and healthy. Their prescribed mix of protein and veggies has me feeling great and very energised!

I didn’t have a good experience with Athleader. My husband and I signed up for a buddy PT package, but the first trainer couldn’t guide us properly and suggested separating sessions (after more than half the package completed), which defeated the whole purpose. Athleader did change the trainer after we raised it, but the overall experience still felt disjointed — we never received any progress updates, no start or end measurements, and no clarity on what we had achieved. On top of that, the account team seemed uninterested in engaging with us, they couldn’t even call to explain. Overall, the service lacked structure, communication, and the level of attention we expected for a paid PT package.
Responding to your message: unfortunately you need to recheck!
1. The first trainer was good at first, half way through he said he can’t continue on the training us saying that he can’t train us together! This was frustrating to us as we committed to do the training every week when we are not travelling!
2. I did not meet any of goals! We did let the account manager know, but no avail!
3. We still do not know our measurement and how much we lost, if we did loose any. I asked multiple times and did not get a response!

In just a month, I’ve seen incredible changes—4kg down, 0.8% body-fat lost, and a noticeable boost in strength and muscle tone. When I first joined Athleaders, I struggled with even 5kg squats. And now with coach Nur's training, I’m comfortably lifting around 15kg. My chest press has also gone up from 5kg to 7.5kg per side. I joined Athleaders about 7-8 months ago, and has been one of the best health investments I have made.
It is very time efficient, as the coach comes to my place - which has significantly reduced the barrier for me to train regularly and be very consistent. Moreover, I love the data driven approach, where we measure and track progress regularly. Highly personalized and clear progress tracking has helped in consistency and discipline, and there are clear quantifiable results to see (weight loss, increase in strength, etc.)
I also highly recommend Coach Stanley, who has been absolutely amazing, polite, knowledgeable, systematic, and fun to do all the training sessions with. He definitely goes above and beyond as my coach, to help me achieve my goals. He is also very observant in spotting bottlenecks, and helping adapt the program for better long term goals. I joined Athleaders to lose weight and gain strength after struggling with pain, balance issues, and overexertion. Thanks to Coach Anthony, I’ve gone from bodyweight squats to 17.5 kg goblet squats, 10 kg Bulgarian split squats, side lunges with proper form; from no hip-hinge movement to 25 kg Romanian Deadlifts; and lat pulldowns at 22.7 kg. Even with a metal plate in my hip, my aches, pains, and instability have reduced greatly. I feel stronger, more balanced, and more confident. When I joined Athleaders, my goal was to build strength for both fitness and balance in golf. Under Coach Serena, my mobility, balance, and rotational power have all improved considerably. Restricted squat depth from femur length is gone. I've gained depth, control, and alignment. Single-leg deadlifts are now stable and precise.
