I have been on many food and wine tours in different cities and I can honestly say this was one stands out for me. Ally was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who brought us around Nice from outdoor markets to indoor markets, from sweet shops to wine shops, from Gelato parlours to restaurants. I learnt so much and experienced some delightful food and top quality wines. If you like food and wine and you are in Nice, this is the tour for you.

Ally was a wonderful tour guide through Nice! Not only does she take you to the locals-only, secret locations with the best foods but she also has much to tell about old Nice. She has thought of and prepared for many eventualities so no worries on the tour! We went to several places along the Riviera on this trip but this was a highlight.

Expectations were high given the amazing reviews, but somehow the tour surpassed them.Ally is nice, warm, knowledgeable and engaging. Every detail is planned and she manages to build a great atmosphere among the group. She often gets stopped or acknowledged by local vendors and restauraters, cementing the idea that you are really getting an insider tour. I'll be thinking about some of the food we tried for a long time!

I have to say in all honesty, this was, by far, the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. We have done good tours in Spain, Portugal and elsewhere but nothing compares to the fun, engaged, and ever so tasty experiences we had with Ally. Her knowledge of the city, the vendors and the tastes that combine to make a special day are superb. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism shine throughout the day as she comes so prepared with her bag of magic, of cups for wine, hand-sanitizer, and a seemingly unlimited supply of things to ease the day. She gleefully engages with locals wherever we walked. Or should I say, they engaged with her, as her warm and friendly personality shines so bright. She made easy adjustments to our tasting choices based on preferences and any sensitivity and was serving us one taste treat, while hustling ahead to make sure the next taste would be ready just down the block. I simply cannot say enough about her quality and the richness of this experience. This is THE gold standard for service. Five stars!!!!

Fabulous food and fascinating history We had a fabulous tour with Ally. Gorgeous food, wine and even Pastis - all of the culinary gems of Nice, served to us by traditional artisan families. I have been coming to Nice since the 90’s but I learnt more about Nice cuisine and it’s fascinating history on the tour than in all those years. It was fun, delicious and Ally accommodated my allergies and vegetarianism at very short notice. Ally is a wonderful guide and 5 stars are not enough. Thank you so much for a memorable day.

My Favorite Food Tour I love food tours so take them when I travel often. I believe this is my favorite of all food tours I have taken. Ally, the owner of the business and our guide for the tour, is the BEST! She not only knows a great deal about food but also the history of Nice. Our tour group was wonderful, our stops on the tour tasty and interesting, and the night lovely. I hope I get the chance to do this again.

A wonderful food and wine tour through the streets of Nice. Hosted by the wonderful Ally. She was extremely friendly and engaging and the 4 hours or so of touring went by so quickly. Every stop was worthwhile and we heard amazing stories and history along with the excellent food and wine stops. I have done a few food tours before but Ally's passion and vervaciousness made this the best food and wine to date. Throughly recommend, a must do in Nice for tourists and locals alike.
