After 47 years of tax work I've learned classes on tax work can be very boring. Everyone at ASTPS somehow makes the classes enjoyable and what we learn is easier to apply to our practice. If I had to drop every other class and membership but one they would be the one I would keep.

I have been a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) since approximately 2018 and have earned their Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) designation. As a CPA who has represented taxpayers in IRS controversy and resolution matters, ASTPS has been one of the most valuable professional organizations I have belonged to. Tax resolution is a highly specialized area, and staying current with IRS procedures and practices is essential. ASTPS provides practical, real-world education that has helped me continually sharpen my representation skills and maintain a high level of competency in this area. I especially value the depth of experience within the organization and the ability to consult with knowledgeable tax resolution professionals when working through difficult or unusual cases. After approximately eight years of membership, I continue to have a very high regard for ASTPS. I would strongly recommend the organization to any CPA, Enrolled Agent, or attorney who is serious about developing and maintaining specialized expertise in IRS representation and tax resolution.

My experiences with ASTPS have been very positive, enlightening and educational. I've never had this totally positive experience anywhere else in all of my many years of tax practice. They are very well informed of current tax laws and practical procedures available to implement or. They make even the most complex issues seem so simple. The Webinar I just completed gives me a heads-up of things to come (good and bad)! ASTPS is at the top of my list of who to go to!
