Mike presents a great course with many explanations and examples. I did think however that he gave too much unnecessary, unrelated detail - that failed to enhance the message - in some of his anecdotes. This just added time to a day already packed with a great deal of information. I am grateful for being reminded of what to do in emergencies. Thank you

If you are going to learn about a particular topic, you can't really go wrong with First Aid as the subject. Mike our tutor covered a variety of areas and scenarios with passion, humour and of course knowledge within the day course. It was never rushed or over cluttered. I left feeling more confident that I could potentially assist an individual in an emergency situation until the medical services arrived.

He was very knowledgeable and shared real life examples that made a massive difference when learning such an intensive course. I was very excited to join this course but never expected to be as good as it was. I would highly recommend for both professional and personal use. Thank you Mike, for such a great day of learning.

I found this course excellent. The teacher Mike was brilliant. I really enjoyed his teaching style, he had us all interacting with eachother and practicing Dr ABC, putting people into the recovery position, applying bandages and doing CPR. We did defib training which I hope I never have to use but it was very useful. I learnt a lot on the course with Mike and I feel like I'd like to take my first aid training further.

I completed my First aid course with Mike today and I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the day. He made learning fun but was very clear on what to do (or not do!) should I ever (hopefully not!) need to perform first aid! The CPR and defibrillator procedures were the most daunting things for me but I feel much more confident after completing this training! I even got offered to purchase a CPR face cover keychain! Would 100% recommend Mike for any future First aid training! Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First-aid training can be a giggle, and of course, it can also be used to stop something serious. Treading this balance requires a delicate but definite touch, and my teacher Mike Badham-Thornhill has it. A former military man, Mike knew exactly when to lighten the mood and when to switch back. Obviously, this comes from experience in the battlefield of war where emotions rise and fall frequently. I've taken similar courses before but this was the first time I felt a genuine understanding of the 'why' behind what I was learning. And because of that, I am certain my learning was deeper. The lessons will stay with me. I thoroughly recommend spending a day doing such a course, and if you get the chance, do it with Mike.

Mike was an excellent trainer- very active, fun, used scenarios to explain - I now feel very confident to administer basic first aid. He questioned us throughout, got us thinking through different situations and demonstrating skills. I remember so much better through this style of training rather than from a book- I would unreservedly recommend this trainer and hope to do more training with him. A most enjoyable informative class.
