I’ve been here before and had a great experience, which is why I came back. Everyone is friendly, and during my first visit I felt like I was really consulted on my skin type and well taken care of.
This visit, however, didn’t match my expectations. The facial (ritual facial) was about 30 minutes and felt rushed. The service included LED light therapy, which wasn’t mentioned in the description beforehand, and I was expecting more of a traditional facial with a longer massage.
My skin was already quite dry when I arrived, and the exfoliation felt very dry and harsh rather than being adjusted for that. Afterward, my skin was left even drier before the LED portion, which didn’t feel ideal.
While the sheet mask and brief massage were alright, the overall treatment felt basic and not very customized.
For $150, I expected a more thorough, hydrating, and clearly described service. If this had been my first experience, I likely wouldn’t return, which is disappointing given how good my first visit was.
I might try again with a different treatment.
Marisa and her staff go above and beyond for providing good care and good service. This state of the art spa rivals any I’ve been to in the lower 48. Her attentiveness and professionalism will keep me coming back as a customer for years to come.
