This is the only place to go in Asheville for a Mortgage. Everything moved along quickly and their were NO surprises along the way. My friends and family had VERY unpleasant experiences with other Mortgage companies in Asheville . After seeing the cut and dry process I had with Fairway, they will be future customers.
Howie and the entire Fairway-Asheville team was fantastic! They were very responsive and informative with answers to our questions and were communicating with us throughout the entire loan process. They made what can be a daunting process very simple and easy. I would highly recommend the Fairway team for anyone looking for a new mortgage or refinancing.
We started working with David on a renovation loan earlier this year, and he has been a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, we had to put the brakes on the project due to COVID-19, and in the interim, needed to access a HELOC to take care of some repairs. David recommended another lender who could help us, and even though he is not gaining anything financially, he definitely had our best interest in mind. David has earned our business, and we look forward to working with him in the future!
Update March 2026 - We finally had the opportunity to work with David and his team on a refinance. David was able to secure a great rate, and restructure a loan that made more sense as my husband and I move towards retirement. Everyone we worked with in his office was efficient and responsive. I will highly recommend Fairway to friends, family, and colleagues.
