We had 3 extremely large Elms in our backyard that unfortunately died of Dutch Elm Disease. The backyard is down a fairly large hill. There was heavy equipment involved and trees were removed with minimal yard damage. They also did a great job with clean up.

The whole experience from start to finish was great. Arborist Dan came out first for an assessment and answered all of my questions and we came up with a plan. On the day they came out to trim the tree, they were quick and efficient while keeping us in the loop the whole time. I was honestly amazed at how well they cleaned up. They had to move our patio furniture and when they were done, you could never tell that anyone was even out there. It was probably cleaner than it was to begin with honestly. The tree still looks nice, just no longer in danger of damaging our house.

I have worked with a lot of tree companies before and I have been very impressed by the professionalism and timeliness of this crew. Maggie answered my questions and got back to me immediately. They were in and out very quickly and the price was similar to other quotes.

These guys do the best work!!! They can do anything!!! During our tree project they hands down made the entire process go smooth and EVERY little detail was paid attention too. I have used Ascension Tree Care multiple times, the last time was this past week. The team cut down 2 very large tree's for me. Highly recommend using Ascension Tree Care for your next tree trimming/tree removal project! Dave came out to our West Bloomfield house to give us a quote for cutting down a cherry tree that was cracked and could potentially fall on our house. He was so helpful with all the questions we had and he gave us a very reasonable quote with many discount options. The crew was here yesterday and they did an outstanding job! Dan and Scott were so friendly and knowledgeable and were even able to identify a few of my favorite trees on our property that I was curious about. They cut the trunks into 4 ft sections and stored them in the place of our choosing. I asked them to cut a few smaller 2 ft sections so I could make bonfire trunk tables and they were happy to do so :) We were also very impressed by how thoroughly they cleaned all the debris up that fell. This was a five star experience and we will absolutely be calling them again for future projects and recommending them to our neighbors!

I'm very happy that I called Ascension Tree Care to take care of the Oak trees at my house in Commerce. I also had them remove a large Box Elder and prune some mature Cherry trees.
They are real pros. I received outstanding communication throughout the entire process, from estimate to invoicing to completing the work, very punctual and knowledgeable...even the trucks and equipment were clean and professional looking.
Big shout out to the entire crew who put in a full days work in less than ideal conditions to deliver exactly what they said they would.
I will be having them back in the spring and would recommend their service to anyone in my family.

Ascension did a great job for us. They were on time, friendly, and professional. They cut down a dead tree and trimmed back other trees in the yard. They cleaned up every last twig. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent and careful job removing a very large elm from the back or our very steep yard. Friendly and enthusiastic crew. For the complexity of the job the price was very reasonable. They are also treating our remaining elm to hopefully save it from the same fate.

The Ascension crew did a great job pruning 2 maples and a large cottonwood on Lake Sherwood in Commerce Township. The process started with a thorough and professional estimate. Estimate was a fair price. A walk through was conducted prior to staring the work to make sure we were aligned on the job. The work was done quickly and safely, ensuring that there was no damage to my hoist or pontoon sitting below the large cottonwood. Prior to finishing up, they conducted another walk through to ensure I was satisfied with the job. Clean up involved dragging large branches up a large hill, raking the snow covered lawn and sweeping/blowing the driveway after chipping. Overall, a great job and a great experience. I would recommend Ascension for any tree job
