I highly recommend that you place your health in the hands of Dr. Monica Esposito, DO and Ascend Concierge Medicine in Tampa. I decided to try concierge medicine after becoming more and more frustrated with today’s general medical practice. I wanted to be proactive and more in control of my own healthcare. This is impossible without adequate time with your doctor. I wanted someone that would provide time and attention to my personal needs. Dr. Esposito goes beyond her call of duty to listen, recommend, and diagnose. She is as brilliant as she is kind. Her office is immaculate, beautiful and welcoming. Her staff is incredibly kind. I’m new to the area and have used direct care physicians in the past but feel very lucky to have found Dr. Esposito. She is incredibly knowledgeable, addressing every concern I’ve had. Not only is she generous with her time during each visit, I never feel rushed and she’s prioritized seeing me when my needs were immediate. I have a few long standing issues she’s helping me with and because of her level of care I’m feeling better and very well cared for. Her office manager Shannon is as kind, considerate, compassionate and committed adding to the first rate service I’ve grown used to experiencing every time I visit the office. Prior to trying a direct care physician getting this level of care was out of reach and in comparison to other direct care offices I’ve been a patient at, Dr. Esposito & Shannon have risen above and beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend Dr. Esposito and her practice enough. After a lifetime of feeling gaslit by medical professionals, and like just another number on their patient load - Dr. Esposito has made me feel seen and heard. She takes the time to really, truly listen and explains her thought processes and decisions. In just a few appointments, she has explained things and answered questions I have been asking my doctors for years. Her office does everything possible to accommodate for appointment times and answer questions I have in between appointments. And the office itself is beautiful and clean. She is, without a doubt, the most caring and intelligent doctor I have ever seen.

From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like a VIP! There are no crowded waiting rooms, Dr. Esposito takes her time with you, and the care feels top-tier. I appreciate how knowledgeable and thorough Dr. Esposito was, every question was answered with care and I never felt rushed. Office is beautiful and staff is very friendly as well! And I love the accessibility for care and urgent needs, unlike my last primary care doctor where I had to wait months to see them. I’m very glad I found this doctor!
