From the first time I walked through the doors at Ascend in 2019, I could feel the presence of a church family. People are warm and welcoming - but it is more than that. The congregation has a sincere interest in people and in helping individuals plug into life groups and church activities.
I distinctly remember receiving a text from Pastor Brad after attending our first service there. We really felt seen. At the time, our oldest kids were young teens. They plugged into the youth group and our toddler attended the tots group. We all had a place to belong. That was important - we wanted to belong.
As the years progressed, we have experienced so much with our church! The church worked tirelessly to continue worship throughout the COVID era. Holidays balance both tradition and new ideas. Most notably, Ascend is consistent. Consistently welcoming. Consistently genuine. Consistently supportive.
Ascend is a church with a pastor dedicated to strong and accurate Biblical teaching. Each sermon series is relevant and applicable to our lives. Pastor Brad prayerfully plans sermon series - and he shares his prayerfulness with us as a congregation.
Likewise, the staff works diligently to help others experience Jesus. The Holy Spirit’s presence is evident, and our family delights in our fellowship there. My husband and I serve in different capacities at the church as well - in fact, Ascend has so many members who serve because the culture at the church perpetuates that. People belong there, and they want to contribute. It’s a beautiful thing to see such involvement.
Ascend is a special church where Jesus is central to all. Our family is thankful to God that He led us to call Ascend our church home.

We love Ascend. The teaching at Ascend is Biblical and applicable. The leadership of the church is accessible and caring. The community is authentically welcoming. All of our family has been welcomed in to serve in different capacities. Our teens love the youth group. The men's and women's ministries are active and we've been able to become very connected. We are genuinely loved by so many in the church, and we love the people we get to do life and worship with. All four of us are growing in our faith at Ascend.

I absolutely love attending Ascend! Between the amazing welcoming staff and congregation, the thoughtfully delivered sermons by Pastor Brad and there relevance in today's world, and receiving the word of God straight from the Bible, I couldn't be happier with my church home and family! The worship team does a wonderful job and I always love the song choices. God is doing amazing things at Ascend and I love being a witness to it. If you are searching for a new church home, don't overlook Ascend. We would love to see you there this Sunday!

We moved to Boise Idaho a year ago December and quickly started looking for a church to call home. We found a great place to belong when we found Ascend Church. It’s the most friendly church I’ve ever visited. The best part is Pastor Brad has a true heart for the Lord and serving others. He preaches the word in a very authentic manner straight from the Bible. From Sunday morning services to Wednesday night Family nights and community outreach, Ascend has quickly become like family to us. We love worshiping & serving here and look forward to serve here for years to come.

From the very first time I was invited to this church when I had nothing going right in my life, to my first visit (and every other after) I have felt the presence of God.
Through Pastor Brad and some of the other staff at Ascend, I have felt Gods love. I have been called out of nowhere when I needed it most by staff. I have gone Sundays where the sermon has either been what I needed to hear to understand how God there for my trials. I have had prayers answered in the most interesting and crazy ways. This church has become a home for me. I drive 30+ minutes just to attend this church and its events as often as I can. Truly I say to anyone looking for a good church home blessed by God. Choose Ascend. The teaching is biblical, its loving (even when you might not want to recieve the message) and will give you hope to keep going in your walk with Christ!

Late one night I googled “small church. Get to know you” when looking for a new church home. Ascend Church (back then it was called Eagle Life) was the first to pop up. I checked out their web-page and decided I’d try them the next Sunday. The next morning I had a card from them in my mailbox. There’s no way the post could have delivered it that fast & I hadn’t filled out anything online. It was already on its way to me when I had googled it. I took it as a sign and visited the church the very next Sunday. That was 4 years ago. I’ve been going ever since. God is working in this church! It’s been amazing to watch. ❤️

If you’re looking for a Christian church where you’ll feel truly loved and spiritually nourished, Ascend Church is the place. The atmosphere is warm, joyful, and family oriented, with activities for all ages, a great kids’ ministry, a caring nursery, baptisms, and Holy Communion. The teachings are powerful and uplifting, and everything is done with excellence and love. Everything we hoped to find in a church, we found here.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a spiritual home . Ascend Church is a Blessing 🙏🏼.

Love this church which has been just the right family for us. Pastor Brad teaches the word from the Bible and the entire Ministry team has been so welcoming & in sharing Christ through their actions. Highly recommend this church for those seeking a true Bible believing, down to earth fellowship of believers family 🙏✝️
I was looking for a church near Star that fit my family’s needs. I didn’t want a big church where people get lost in a crowd- I wanted a place where people actually get to know you. So late one night I googled key terms like “friendly” and “get to know you.” Eagle Life Church (the church’s old name) was the top of the list. So I resolved to attend service the next Sunday. The next day I received a mailer from the church inviting me to check them out. I knew it was a sign from God. I’ve never been more happy with a church. They believe in growing the next generation as disciples. They allow my teen girls to volunteer in things like worship, children’s church and media. I’ve watched their youth group grow from just a handful of kids to over 30! God is working in this place. He is using Ascend Church to help people experience Jesus in life changing ways and I am blessed and humbled to be a part of it.

Visited for Christmas. A wonderful and expertly executed service. Very comfortable location and cheery people. Great worship and Jesus centered time. They focus on truth rather than debunking others' beliefs. I am happy to see Pastor again next year and excited to see his transformation after a year in the gym getting after it.

High on my priority list when moving to my new Idaho community was to find a new church but it took me 5 months to find Eagle Life Church. I had visited several other churches in the area but when I walked into this church and was greeted by so many warm and friendly people and especially after the service, I knew I had found my church home. It is a small congregation led by a dynamic pastor who speaks right out of the Bible and relates to today's living. The church is alive with God's spirit and warm and welcoming people, and for a relatively small Church its Outreach into the community, state, and even the world is outstanding.
