As when to interview yesterday with Neil who was director of this company. Yes had cold feet and very nervous. He’s feedback was very bad and never let me explain why I wanted this job. He was very rude and horrible towards me about me having lack of experience and knowledge about party walls. Thought myself that this company can let me do wonders and progression, but no Neil the director was horrible and shown his ture colours of picking people who have nervous and no much experience. Please avoid this company and not working with him.

Recently had to get Party Wall survey done, which needed to be done quite quickly.
Neil and his Team were very professional and managed to get everything sorted out within two weeks having to deal with three neighbouring properties.
Their charges etc, were explained very clearly on the outset, so there were no hidden surprises.
Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a good local Party Wall Surveyor.

Truly awful. Do not use.
The entire experience was totally horrendous. Arun Associates were truly incompetent from day 1. The list of horrors is too long to mention here - but among them: no communication, letters sent to the wrong address, slow to act, do not react to feedback. I uspect there is a conflict of interest when a 2nd surveyor needs to be appointed (Arun will appoint one of their associates). Their internal appeals/dispute mechanism is not independent or impartial.
We enagaged them in 2020 and will never work with them again.

When you have builders in, it can be soul destroying. When I hired Arun Associates to take charge, I consistently felt Nick Bell their surveyor was 'on my side' - he really knew what he was talking about, he was diplomatic and when a builder tried to tell him Bosch made wonky appliances, he set him straight in ten seconds flat. The build looked amazing. While I am not sure Nick and Neil want to be known as the one-stop cop shop of building work, it was a huge relief to have found them, and I am really looking forward to my next job with them. I know I can sit back and watch a good job being done on time and on budget supervised by truly competent professionals.

Arun Associates provided me with Party wall services for a garage conversion that is separated by a party wall with an adjoining neighbor. I was on a tight deadline. The customer service I received was outstanding and I was kept in the loop in every step of the way. We used Arun to get a party wall agreement in place with our neighbours. Neil was very helpful in getting the project over the line in a short space of time and now we can start our roof extension!

I have used Arun Associates for many years now on projects both large and small
I am director of a freehold company which owns a terrace of large Victorian stucco fronted buildings which tend to have quite quirky problems, Arun and Associates are very skilled at sorting quite complex maintenance issues
Most recently they oversaw a major works project with a contract price of well over one hundred thousand pounds
Generally I have always found them to be highly professional and very pleasant to deal with

After reading all the positive feedback on Google Reviews, and making the payment in full of £1,116.00, we had the initial inspection of the property, however after chasing Arun Associates for a number of months, From Feb - Apr 2020, there is no movement on a final inspection. There have been excuses of Covid-19 etc, however, the lock down only started in March, and protective equipment can still be worn to ensure safety. Unfortunately, I'm out of pocket, and without any solution. I would advise people consider working with this company carefully, and avoid if possible.

As I had stated in my email following receipt of your review it is a disappointing that you did not contact myself as your appointed party wall surveyor to discuss your dissatisfaction. You had been liaising with my colleague who in fact would not have been able to have carried out a final inspection visit due to lockdown restrictions and being temporarily furloughed. I was unaware of issues you are having in terms of arranging the final inspection visit.
Having looked into your project and conferred with my colleague I understand that a party wall Award was agreed within a short timeframe of two weeks following your commencement of works and there being no formal agreement with your neighbour in place. I cannot see how you would have been out of pocket given that we had made a party wall agreement promptly for you to recommence works your works and to make good damage to the party wall arising from your works.
Having completed the notifiable party wall works and made good damage I understand you were pursuing for us to check that there has been no further damage and that the making good has been undertaken satisfactorily. I believe that both you and my colleague had endeavoured to contact the neighbouring landlord in February this year however were unsuccessful in making appointment. When contact was made unfortunately government lockdown restrictions came into effect which meant for obvious reasons, we were unable to take any internal inspections.
In any case following your review I have made the final inspection and closed this matter.

I was in desperate need of help after completing our loft conversion, we had to adjust our plans for the ground floor extension.
I phoned Neil Thind at Arun Associates and within a day he put me in touch with his colleague Nick Bell. Nick was brilliant he helped with the Architect’s work, linked in with the Council and Structural Engineer and got it all sorted expeditiously.
A brilliant, professional service that values their customers.
