I am very pleased with the recent work on my two chimneys and some other repair and pointing to my brickwork. Everything was very transparent -- what was needed, what my options were, how long it would take, how much it would cost. The workers were very efficient as well as clean -- no mess or dust left on-site. Artur and his team did a fantastic job rebuilding my chimney, replacing a couple of brick window sills and some miscellaneous tuckpointing. I was impressed by the thoroughness of the drone inspection and the detail of the work scope document and estimate. On the day of the job, the crew arrived on time (actually about 1/2 hour early), prepared and protected the site, performed the work and cleanup and left the surrounding property spotless. Art Masonry recently refurbished our chimney, including replacing the top rows of brick and a new cap. We are downtown, so the job was very complicated as the chimney was high with the next house being too close for scaffold. Two other companies we contacted didnt even return a quote to us.
Arthur (our contact) was excellent. He completed a drone inspection before walking me through the job. As there were some areas the drone couldnt get close enough to, they followed up with a visual inspection ensuring the job was well understood and any risk of changes was low.
Due to the complexities, i asked for detailed explanation of how the job would be completed safely which Arthur walked me through. All of this was documented in a thorough quote for our review.
When comparing to the other quotes we did receive (email or text of a few bullets), there was no comparison. Art Masonry was marginally the most expensive, but well worth it. They showed how the job could be done safely, and ensured it was well understood so we wouldnt get a change notice.
Would 100% use again for any future masonry work.

We tore down an awning at the front of our home. There were two big holes with missing bricks where the main truss of the awning was, there were several bricks that were also delaminating. Called Art Masonry, Artur came the next day. Really nice guy, he looked around at what needed to be done and gave me a reasonable quote. I asked him when was the soonest that the work could be started as I feared animals being able to enter into the house through the 2 holes. He said he could have the work started the next day. His team showed up the next day, they were very professional and extremely skilled. They worked very cleanly and did a fantastic job. The bricks that they replaced were an extremely close match. Artur and his team did a wonderful job repairing my failing chimney. It has given me a great peace of mind, now that it is done, as the top section had actually become unstable, and the lower section which was covered by siding was suffering from extensive spalling underneath (see below "Before Pic"). As the chimney was nolonger in use, I elected to have the top portion removed altogether, repair the lower brick damage and recover it with the siding. Tuck pointing was also done in a number of places all around the house. My many thanks to Artur and team for getting this done for me fairly quickly and doing a great job!
