We just had Hamid The Rug Guru cut down a fine Moroccan Rug to fit in our new house. His expertise is topnotch and he figured out how to re-size this rug in ways that our Designer and we would never have thought of. The result was perfect and within a very complicated and intricate pattern, you cannot tell where the cuts were made and repaired. They also removed some old fringe on two sides and re-bordered the whole rug so it looks seamless and as woven. Hamid is truly a wizard and his experience speaks for itself. He even finished AHEAD of schedule and delivered a beautiful and artistic interpretation of our rug. We could not be more pleased and would recommend The Rug Guru to anyone in need of his services.

Hamid was a pleasure to deal with. My vintage Berber carpet was washed , refringed and repaired. I purchased the carpet in Morocco 25 years previous, it had survived a hectic family life. A few years have passed , the carpet is looking sharp, very happy with the whole process, Hamid knows carpet's it was in good hands.

A great job done by Hamid who really knows his trade; this was his training in the old country, he picks up and delivers and operates with true old fashioned values, hard work and incredible service and knowledge of rugs.
