Since 2022, myself and my family have had two very caring and compassionate encounters with Artisan. We have had two head stones done. The quality of the work is excellent and by arrangement, you can organise a visit to the workshop where you can see for yourself a wide range of examples of work done with help and advice on your own choice of stone and inscription styles. During these difficult times of loss there was no pressure to make any quick decisions. We all really appreciated this. I can't recommended Artisan highly enough for anyone wanting to remember their loved ones in this way.

I was looking for a memorial stone for my Mother and wanted to arrange something that was more individual and unusual.
I found Artisan Memorials to be a very special company, they have true sincerity and warmth. From the initial discussion with David about the types of stone, the outstanding drawings created by Mark, the perfect carving of the stone to create a very beautiful and unique stone in Welsh Slate, the information and updates provided by Megan and finally the installation of the stone, Artisan Memorials were outstanding and with me every step of the way.
With its beautiful slate and deep hand carving of the lettering and Celtic Cross, I feel relief in knowing that a memorial has been created which is a fitting tribute to my Mother and that it will stand the test of time, due to the knowledge and craftsmanship of Artisan Memorials.

Fabulous company to deal with. Excellent communication and advice throughout the process. I was able to provide ideas for the design I wanted for my late daughter's memorial and these were interpreted beautifully by the team at Artisan. The memorial itself far exceeded my expectations, with exquisite carving and the most beautiful stone used. Family and friends have been overwhelmed by the uniqueness of the memorial which truly reflected my late daughter's personality and values.

Considering I was at the end my tether after being strung along for over year by our local stonemason, I can't recommend Artisan Memorials enough. They contacted me the same day I'd sent them an enquiry and they were incredibly helpful, honest and kept in touch throughout the process. They chose a beautiful piece of Nabresina stone and did a great job on Dad's memorial plaque. Nothing was too much trouble. A big thanks to the team!!

Such a fabulous company, I can absolutely recommend Artisan Memorials. Artisan memorials had the perfect headstone for Martin. It’s everything that he would have wanted. The stone is perfectly carved! We were able to choose the design of the lifeboat for the top of the gravestone. Artisan memorials made the whole process so easy. Communication was good, they even managed to install the gravestone on Martin’s birthday, which was our wish to do so. Can safely say the photo doesn’t really do it justice as it’s SO perfect, even more so in real life. A huge thank you to Artisan Memorials team.

While searching for inspiration for a beautiful and original cremation memorial stone for my mother, I came across the website for Artisan Memorials. Working with them to get the right stone was a lovely experience. After an initial discussion they sent through some initial design ideas, and from there we worked to develop them with the right words and the right layout until we reached the end result. They were patient and helpful throughout, happy to try different ideas and to work up more than one set of wording in different arrangements until we were happy. They also dealt with the church directly to arrange delivery and instalment ready for our ceremony. We have just come back from the burial of the ashes and all our friends and family were amazed by how beautiful the stone is, it really stands out as an example of stunning craftsmanship and elegant design. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

2020 Artisan Memorials were commissioned to create a memorial headstone for my father. They prepared a Beautiful Welsh slate headstone then travelled to Nottingham to ensure the stone was erected as soon as the Cemetry was open. On the 9th May 2025 I visited the cemetery on the date of my fathers birth to find the headstone in perfect condition like the day it was placed, while others around (placed later) seem to be sinking and starting to faulter. Artisan Memorials provided the perfect enduring marker to remember and reflect some fond memories of my father.
