Had an emergency appointment for my French bulldog as my normal vet was closed. I was seen promptly by a Cameron who explained throughly the problem and options! I will be changing to this vets going forward as they are open 24/7 and felt confident the vet understood the breed.

We arrived at Arthur Lodge out of hours for an emergency visit with my dog. We had an extremely warm and caring welcome and were seen very promptly by a calm and empathetic VET who gave good treatment and advice. Very good experience of this VET practice.

FINALLY a vet who doesn’t charge ridiculous and totally unjustifiable costs for seeing animals after office hours. They are GENUINE animal lovers who do not exploit the love between owners and companion animals, and unlike most other vets, don’t leave pets suffering in distress because their owners can’t afford their extortionate out of hours charges. I have recommended your organisation to dozens of other pet owners and will continue to do so. I thank you for your exceptional service and care for my own little dog last night, who without your attentive and affordable service, I question would be alive this morning.

After a difficult experience at another Horhsam vet, when my dear cat, Elsie needed a vet next, I found Arthur Lodge who saw her that day. Although ultimately she passed away, over the preceding 4 days, she saw a few vets, all of whom were first class. We were treated with kindness and compassion; they spent time explaining her medical condition and options available; and most importantly, were thorough and excellent vets. Cameron in particular was a standout perfect vet. He modelled a rare balance of presenting the facts, his view and experiences and was honest when he couldn't give a chances of recovery prediction.

Thank you so so much to everyone at Arthur’s Lodge! Bought Ted in approx 9:30pm with a suspected broken tail, he was kept overnight & monitored/tests ran. Both him & I were treated with the upmost respect & care by the vets, assistants & reception team. I was even made a lovely coffee when I had a bit of a wobble (over-worrier)! Consistent check-ins to myself making sure I was okay & kept informed of Ted’s process.

We had an emergency with our Beautiful dog Honey Bee 🐝 and needed surgery immediately. We were guided by our local vet to take her to Arthur Lodge Veterinary Surgery about 30mins from us and they admitted our dog and completed her life saving surgery straight away and kept her over night. From the minute I walked through the door until I collected her the next day I couldn’t have been more confident that there was going to be an excellent result. From Nick the surgeon to Laura the nurse and all of the caring staff on duty, our experience was filled with that of confidence and care and skill and everything one would want when their furry best friend has an episode like ours. All members of staff are always very welcoming and professional, knowing the pets by name. They all go the extra mile to help. They even called me Christmas Eve and emailed me Christmas day to let me know that my dog's results (which we had feared were life threatening) were clear, to ensure that we could enjoy our day without worrying. Cameron has gone above and beyond time and again for my two dogs, explaining options and giving advice. I would not hesistate to recommend.
