Hi Jason,
Thank you for your feedback. I would like to clarify that we have never met in person. You called our office to request advice and a detailed discussion about your business. I informed you that you were most welcome to come in, and that our in-office consultations do carry a standard consultation fee. I also explained that if you decided to sign up with us, this fee would be fully deducted from your future charges.
Before ending the call, you mentioned that you found this rude. I’m sorry you felt that way, but charging a consultation fee is standard practice in our industry. A proper consultation requires time to review your accounting system and provide accurate guidance, and it would not be fair or professional for us to offer such a service for free.
You also mentioned bringing additional family members and referrals in the future. While we appreciate the thought, our policy remains the same for all clients: in-office consultations are charged, and the fee is deductible should you choose to work with us.
I understand that you have the right to share your experience, but I do feel your review may not reflect the actual interaction accurately, as no service was provided and no meeting took place. Regardless, I respect your opinion.
For the general public, I would like to clarify: telephone inquiries are free of charge, but in-office consultations require a fee due to the time and professional assessment involved. This fee is always deducted from future service charges if you proceed with us.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best.
