Arcade Time Machine Reviews

We recently held our children’s birthday party here for a group of 9 and 10-year-olds, and it was a huge success. The selection of games was excellent, with a great mix of retro classics and modern favourites. From shoot-'em-ups to driving simulators, there was something for everyone, regardless of age or gaming experience. The arcade is spread across three floors, giving the children plenty of space to explore and play without feeling crowded. Alongside the arcade machines, the air hockey and table football tables were a massive hit. There was a dedicated party room for food, drinks and birthday cake. We only booked for an hour, but we could easily have stayed longer as there was plenty to enjoy. The children had a fantastic time from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it for children's parties or passing an hour on a rainy day.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review! 😊 We're delighted to hear that the children had such a brilliant time celebrating their birthday with us! 🎉 It's great to know they enjoyed the mix of retro classics, modern games, air hockey and table football. There's certainly plenty to explore across all three floors! 🕹️

We're glad the party room worked well for your celebrations too. Hopefully, we'll see you all again soon for another visit — there's still plenty more gaming fun to enjoy! 👾🎮

Exceptional. Absolutely brilliant and unique place. I enjoy retro arcades; this place had both retro games and the very latest modern video games that I've never seen nor played. They had very slick and immaculate graphics, on huge screens. Loads of different rooms with different games in there. I think there's pretty much something for everyone, spread over three floors, whether retro-gamer or modern-gamer. Racing games, classic 'beat 'em ups', racing games, 'shoot-em ups' and a lot of four player games such as Mario Kart. £8.50 for one hour, unlimited play on all games. I gave it a try, not knowing what to expect, but I was totally blown-away and the 60 minutes just flew-by. Option to pay the extra £4 for another hour. Love the dark ambience in there too and the fact there were lots of little different rooms. The sounds coming from one of the zombie games were amazing and atmospheric. Please keep the rooms as they are and don't be tempted to 'knock it all through' to make one big room. I love the set-up as it is.

Had a great time at Arcade Time Machine. There’s a brilliant selection of old-school arcade games to choose from, and it was great fun getting stuck into some classics. Really good value for money too. Definitely somewhere I’ll be going back to!

I just had a fantastic couple of hours here, and honestly, it’s a brilliant place. There’s something for everyone. I can easily imagine a dad bringing his son along and the two of them spending the day playing retro games together. It would also make for a really fun and slightly different date night for couples. There was a guy and a girl there and they where having a great laugh. As for me, I spent the afternoon blasting through Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Mega Drive, and I absolutely loved it. Next time I’m here, I’ll probably give Mario a go and maybe Sonic & Knuckles. The whole setup is fantastic, and the guys running the place couldn’t be friendlier. Theres a mind blowing amount of games available. I’ll definitely be back!

Me, my son and his friend spent three hours here today and wish we had the time to stay longer, staff amazing very chatty and helpful. Took me back to the good old days of playing some of the best games ever made so many games to choose from even the kids loved playing the old classics and where asking when we could go back as we walking out the door, the vr racing game was amazing and so much fun. Can’t wait to see what is next to come to this place and can’t wait to go back with friends and the kids again so much fun and price is unbelievable. Would highly recommend this to everyone

We had a fantastic time celebrating my son’s 9th birthday at Arcade Time Machine! 🎮 The retro arcade games were a big hit and the kids absolutely loved having so many different games to choose from. It was something a little different from a traditional birthday party too. The parents also enjoyed a dose of gaming nostalgia! The party was well organised with use of a dedicated party room for the kids to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience easy and stress free. We would definitely recommend the Arcade Time Machine for a birthday party. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place, you pay per hour rather than having coin operated machines but you get great value. Lots of variation whether it be arcade classics or emulators for old consoles like the megadrive or SNES. Definitely scratches that nostalgia itch. Highly recommend, looking forward to going back

Absolute awesome place. Lots of nostalgia from my childhood. And my little lad loved it too playing on old games like mortal kombat ,outrun, sega rally plus alot more. Its so much cheaper than going to an actual arcade and much more fun. The owner is really friendly and you can see how much time and effort has been put into it
