Wir haben die längere Option 9-12 Uhr gewählt. Es hat mega Spaß gemacht diesen beeindruckenden Tieren näher zu kommen. Niemand inklusive der Elefanten wurde zu irgendwas gezwungen. Vielmehr hat man die tiefe Bindung zwischen den Tieren und den Menschen sehen dürfen. Der Guide hat viel zu den Hintergründen und der geschichtlichen Einordnung erklärt. Ein tolles Erlebnis, Dankeschön an das ganze Team!

My best day ever !
I have always wanted to interact with elephants, but it needed to be in an ethical caring environment, and this place is it. Me and my husband visited on the 6 th of May 2026 and it was the absolute highlight of our trip to Asia. From the seamless pickup to drop off, everything was amazing. Mai, our host was so honest, educational and fun, and puts the Elephants, his Mahouts, the staff and visitors safety and wellbeing at the front of everything. You are briefed thoroughly on how you should and shouldn’t treat the elephants at each step of the trip, but in a positive and fun way. We had the best time ever, feeding, mud bathing then getting in the pool with the elephants and cleaning them. Their Mahouts( individual carers) clearly adore their elephants, and we learned so much. EVERYONE should do this trip at least once in their lives to experience these majestic , incredible animals, and to support this amazing cause. What a great experience - we visited the morning session - learned so much about Asian Elephants that I never knew, the team were brilliant showing you about elephants personalities their behaviour and how to feed them, We then got to feed each of them a range of different fruits and interact with them, before taking them to a mid scrub and bath spa afterwards. Being up close with these giants you realise the raw power they have yet how gentle they are - the mahouts are amazing and learning g how they live with their elephants was fascinating - def worth a visit here!!
Ein sehr schönes und beeindruckendes Erlebnis! Wir haben viel über die Elefanten erfahren, durften sie füttern, führen und sie baden. Der Guide war super nett und auch alle anderen mitwirkenden Personen. Man spürt dass die Tiere respektiert und gut behandelt werden. Alles wird gut erklärt und jede Menge Fotos und Videos von uns bei den verschiedenen Aktivitäten gemacht.

Had an incredible and educational day at Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary. It’s heartening to see a place that truly prioritizes the well-being and freedom of these animals.
We learned how to properly connect with the elephants and prepared special protein meals for them. I was especially impressed by the care they provide to the sick elephants that need specific medication and extra attention. You can really feel the love the mahouts and staff have for them. Highly recommend this ethical experience!

A great place to visit if you're staying near Ao Nang Beach. They genuinely show that they care about the elephants, which made the experience feel ethical and meaningful. The staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming, and the included hotel transfer service was very convenient.
Just to clarify, many of the negative reviews seem to come from people who saw elephants being ridden nearby and assumed it was this place. This sanctuary does not offer elephant riding. Unfortunately, another nearby business does, which has caused some understandable confusion. That’s very unfortunate, because this place clearly prioritizes elephant welfare.

Amazing experience!
If you are looking for an ethical elephant experience in Krabi, this is it. The elephants here have so much space and freedom. I spent the morning making protein balls and learning about their health. It’s clear that the sanctuary takes great care of everyone, including the older or sick elephants who need medical help.
