Thank you for taking the time to submit a review regarding our restaurant. Whilst we are always grateful for feedback, it is important to address the inaccuracies contained within your comments.

First and foremost, you did not visit our restaurant. You made a reservation on 1 April 2026 at 20:50. On 2 April 2026 at 09:48, you were sent an email informing you of our standard policy requiring a deposit in order to secure bookings of this nature.

As we did not receive a response, our receptionist attempted to contact you at 14:21 the same day to follow up on the earlier communication. The call lasted approximately 35 seconds, during which she politely sought to reiterate the deposit requirement. Regrettably, the call was abruptly terminated by you before she was able to complete the explanation.

It is therefore both surprising and disappointing that you chose to publish a negative review regarding a business you did not attend, based solely on a brief telephone interaction in which our team member was carrying out her duties in accordance with established policy.

We are confident that any reasonable observer will draw their own conclusions as to where discourtesy arose in this instance.

Furthermore, it is concerning that platforms such as Google permit the publication of reviews in circumstances where no actual service has been experienced. Such practices risk unfairly damaging businesses that are committed to providing high standards of food and service, particularly in the current challenging economic climate.

I would also like to place on record my full support for our receptionist, who conducted herself professionally, without fault, and entirely as she should have in the proper execution of her duties.
