We have a strong, motivated student with excellent academics, leadership, and natural curiosity. For a long time, we believed we didn’t need a college admissions advisor—but midway through junior year, the process became overwhelming, and we realized we needed a true mentor.
After careful research, we found Angeli—and we’re incredibly grateful we did. She is genuine, trustworthy, and has a remarkable ability to turn confusion and stress into clarity and direction. She laid out a thoughtful roadmap, helped reset expectations, and clearly explained reach, target, and lottery schools in a way that finally made sense to all of us.

He worked closely with our daughter on building a balanced and strategic college list, ensuring each school aligned with her goals. On essays, he was incredibly detail-oriented—providing thoughtful, constructive feedback while always preserving her authentic voice. He had a real talent for helping her refine her ideas, strengthen her storytelling, and bring out the nuances that made her application stand out.
Beyond his technical skills, Tyler was a constant source of encouragement and calm. During stressful moments, he helped her stay grounded, confident, and focused. He was consistently responsive—often replying late at night with thorough, reassuring guidance—which made a huge difference in keeping the process on track. His dedication, patience, and genuine care made him not just an advisor, but a trusted mentor our daughter relied on throughout.
In the end, our daughter applied to 19 schools and was accepted to 18, with one waitlist. Some of the accepted schools: Stanford, Yale, Brown (PLME BS/MD Program), Dartmouth,
Johns Hopkins (DMP – Master’s in Global Health), Northwestern, Rice, USC, UT Austin, UC Santa Barbara, and waitlisted for Harvard. We are beyond grateful—not just for the incredible results, but for the confidence, perspective, and growth this journey gave our daughter. Angeli and Tyler truly made a lasting impact on how we approach our child’s future.

We chose the small group program for my daughter as she finished her junior year and prepared for senior year—hands down, the best decision. The structure of meeting twice a week provided the perfect balance of accountability and support.
The entire team was attentive, responsive, and truly invested in our daughter’s success. A special shoutout to Tyler and Anjali, who were instrumental in helping her get the most out of her essays.
My daughter is a self-starter, so the True U self-guided program was a great fit. We especially appreciated the office hours with Tyler to fine-tune her essays—it made a big difference.
We had many friends use other college counseling services and not have the same experience. The combination of small group support and flexible office hours really set this program apart.
Also shout out to Rodrigo in administration as he was always prompt and super helpful with anything we needed. Having guides like the team at Anja Education was so helpful! This process could have been more difficult, however they took the fear & anxiety out of this process for my daughter. We are super grateful.

As a family, we had a wonderful experience working with Anjali and Melissa. My 2 kids went thru their College application process and both were very successfully. Guillermo is attending NYU and Lorena is in the process of deciding between UofM Dearborn, Parsons, Kelley School of Business in Indiana, Pace University and Johnson & Wales. We reached out to Anjali and team when our son was a Sophomore in high school to help figure out the current college application process and what is needed these days to get into a good school. Anjali and team provided great guidance about how he could diversify his experience, provided a list of summer programs he could take (at colleges like UNPENN), but most importantly, helped him with his standardized test taking strategy for the ACT/SAT. Also, they helped him with his application and essay writing, which was a difficult area for him. Our son did really well on the ACT (35 of 36!), however he only got into one of his top tier schools. However, Anjali's team provided him with some really good backups and he got into some good mid-tier honors programs. One area we still struggled was the scholarship process and the options available for his particular demographic. Overall, we recommend using a college counselor service and it took a lot of pressure off us as parents to figure out this process which is really different than when we went to college!
