as they do not provide placement schools, you have to find one yourself, it took me a while to find the school. either say" never heard of this institute name before" or " sorry we are not taking students "
About the work placement, goes beyond what an ES student can do during placement, an ILP? LOL, even an ES doesn't require to create an ILP , my supervisor and teacher both complained about this is TOO much, and they had student before for placement, but nothing like this, this is crossing the "BORDER" and took a while for them to proof my work
about the canvas, on your side it showed, yep, you have submitted your work, but on their end, nah, you still have not submitted on blah blah blah assessment
if you want to study, go for Chisholm or Holmesglen or uni, at least people heard the name, they are legit

My wife is studying Certificate IV in School Based Education Support at Angel Institute. While her assessor is good, the work placement assessments are extremely overwhelming. Many of the tasks are more suitable for a teaching degree, not for an Education Support Worker (ESW).
My wife and other students from Angel Institute have compared assessments from other colleges offering the same course, and those colleges have much simpler and more relevant placement tasks that actually reflect the ESW role.
One school has even stopped accepting Angel Institute students for placement because the institute gives unnecessary and unrealistic workplace tasks, which put extra pressure on supervising teachers. Another school principal has also raised a complaint about this issue.
The main challenges are:
Limited support from teachers and supervisors who find these tasks excessive and outside the ESW scope.
Being asked to do teachers’ duties, such as preparing lesson plans and resources for students, which are not part of the ESW role.
I strongly recommend choosing another college that provides fair and realistic workplace assessments aligned with what Education Support Workers actually do.

I am Maggie, a student from the EAL3 (Further Study) course who attended the online classes on Wednesday and Thursday. Our teacher was Victoria (YanJun Wang).
Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the institution for providing us with such an excellent learning environment and valuable educational opportunities. I also extend my thanks to all the faculty and staff for their dedication to supporting our studies. In particular, I am deeply grateful for the arrangement of such an outstanding teacher—Ms. Victoria. Her expertise and teaching attitude are exceptional, and she is always ready to answer every question from the students.
For instance, one of our learning tasks involved delivering speeches. With nearly 30 students in the class, Ms. Victoria meticulously reviewed our initial drafts, corrected errors, and guided us in making improvements. During the formal presentations, she listened attentively to each student, patiently noted every error, and provided timely feedback on aspects such as the speech’s theme, vocabulary, grammatical accuracy, as well as the organization of key points in the PPT and the selection of visuals. She then reviewed our revised versions, and through her persistent and meticulous corrections, our English proficiency improved significantly. Each of her lessons was conducted with professionalism, dedication, and patience, achieving both an engaging and efficient learning atmosphere.
Beyond the textbook content, to enhance our interest and motivation, she often incorporated short videos and supplementary materials related to the course, which we discussed together in class. She also shared relevant professional knowledge in our WeChat group for further exploration. Whenever we had academic questions, we could reach out to her in the group, and she would always respond promptly and patiently to resolve our doubts.
Our course concluded successfully on September 10, 2025. I am aware that this achievement is attributable to both the institution and Ms. Victoria. Though it is difficult to part ways, I must bid farewell. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to become a student again at Angel Academy and under Ms. Victoria’s guidance. Words cannot fully express our appreciation for the institution and our teacher, hence this brief letter serves as a humble token of our gratitude.
